slow down lag on mp, on computer

Hi,

I noticed when I run CoD: WaW in 1920x1080 and play multiplayer I sometime get a bit of lag or slow down on my PC.

I have not problems with other games at the same res.

PC Spec:

CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3-B3

Graphic Card: XFX ATI HD6870 1GB

Ram: 8GB G.Skill Ripjaw DDR3 1333Mhz

Hard Drives: 2x 500GB Western Digital – Sata II

Monitor: Dell 23″ S2309W

Software: Windows 7 Home Premium – 64 Bit

Activision account and waw questions

I recently get back to waw and wanted to update it and registred but somehow i cant do any of this. I cant find patch dowlnoad section on cod and cod waw site, adn buton register game ask me to login but after clicking it site turns gray and nothing happens. Anyone can help me with this or at least with patching?

When I play ingame I always do /record demoname at the start of each game and play with normal fps and no skipping whatsoever. However, when I go to play that demo via /demo demoname this happens:

As you can tell, the video is incredibly jumpy and the running is glitchy. Is there any fix to this? I occasionally do cool things and would love to upload it to youtube but am unable to because it looks bad.

Please note that this looks the same whether I have Fraps running or not!

What I've tried so far:

Updating Directx

Updating Video Card Drivers

Restarting Computer

Uninstalling/Reinstalling

Verifying Game Cache (this is digital copy from steam)

Multiplayer Problem!!!!!!!!

Hey there, I recently purchased WaW and everything was sweet. But, when I wanted to play online it told me to make an account and I was ok with that but after I made it, it told me to make it again and again and again and again.. and well you know.

Has anyone else had this problem, or is it just me?

Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

I got CoD WaW a long time ago. I wanted to install it, but the cd is broke.
I still got the keycode, but it doesn't work if I download the game on steam?

help!! i got the game today and everytime the game finishes installing, i load the game up and it gives me "Unknown error (13:6)" what does this mean?? how do i fix it? i really want to play Zombies for PC soon... any help would be nice. please help!!

Help - Unhandled Exception Caught

This is on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

This only happens whenever I try to change a setting within the game to where it asks me do I want to apply it, to where it would "restart" the game by itself.

I bought World at War via Steam and whenever I try to change the screen resolution, it "closes" out of the game then 5 seconds later an error comes up saying "Error, Unhandled Exception Caught".
I have looked up multiple ways to fix this problem but none have worked.
I have disabled all other sound devices in my playback devices, I deleted treyarch.bik, i have deleted my players folder in appdata/local.
I looked it up on activisions support page [ https://activision.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/activision.cfg/php/enduser/std_alp.php ] and there was only 1 problem answered for this same thing but I read it over and nothing there has helped me.
I have updated drivers, I cannot change my playback device to basic since I do not see an option to. I have verified cache and it still has done nothing.

The system I am on is a Acer Aspire 5750G-6804 which is a laptop

If anyone would have an answer it would be greatly appreciated, since the only way I can play is with the safe mode settings which is completely stupid.

WaW has stopped working for me online. i live on the east coast so i am believing it was hurricane sandy. WHEN WILL THE ONLINE BE BACK UP??!?!?!?! I JUST BOUGHT THE GAME 1 MONTH AGO!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

Dedicated server not showing in master server list

Hello everybody, I have a server cod5 for over 3 years, there is a month or two ago he no longer appear in the server list in game, I'm connecting through favorites but not by the master server list, simply stopped showing up, I contacted my provider and they said that there is not any firewall blocking, have disabled the firewall on windows server 2008, windows and server world at war was reinstalled and a message "server: Updating session (180050ms)" intermittently, if someone can help or suggest where can I get help I am very grateful.

When i startup my WaW i see the message "Dw profile create error 800- 'BD_PROFILE_ALREADY_EXISTS_' i've created many profiles, different names, even non sense names like as5d41a96 and it didnt work, i cant add my friends it says invalid idm and the same when they add me! any solution?

Hi,

Me and my friends just bought the game. When we created our profile (with the good serial) we have an error 800. When we try to add each other to the friend list we have an error message saying that the friend doesnt exist yet. And when we look for a server, we don't have any server available.

We all have been looking for an answer on the net for hours but nothing better yet

(English isnt my native language so I apologize if you find mistakes but the english forum seems more visited)

Cant look for servers in co-op

For some unkown reason, my pc suddenly refuses to search for servers in co-op.

Up until last week, I’ve never had this problem.

MP works just fine, but when I try to find a co-op match, my pc is ALWAYS “getting info for 7 servers”, but never shows any.

I have tried: - Reinstalling, with removing all registry keys and such

- Creating a new online account

- ignoring it for a couple of days (I thought it could be a temporary problem)

- Portforwarding

- Hosting game (nobody joins)

None of these seems to fix it.

Does anyone know what the cause might be? Or have any suggestions?

hey guys i just bought this game yesterday and the campaign thing is awesome but when i tried to play in the multiplayer ,i couldn't find any games :S and i'm wondering, no one plays this game anymore or it has something to do with the hurricane sandy? do you experience the same problem?

Hey, i downloaded the Beta setup from Gamers Hell but i have no beta code. The setup said i needed to go to callofduty.com/beta but when i do, it forwards me to callofduty.com/hub. how do i get the code?

i downloaded a patch 1.1& 1.2 n installed but it said that mp_code is different then i had to reinstall the entire game cause i couldnt play it anymorefrom where shall i download all patches which surely work!!!!????
