I wasn't planning on anything more than killing some time before MW3 came out but I've cancelled my MW3 xbox pre-order and replaced it with a BF3 pre-order. Don't worry trolz, I'm still getting MW3 on PS3. It was a lot of fun and a change of pace from COD. I won't put in as much time on it as on MW3 but it will definitely get a few days worth of play time.

Even Black Ops, a COD game had it's share of bush wookies.

It's like players don't realise COD has campers as well and cry that BF3 is slow paced.

use IRNV scope and the MAV to find campers. it's not difficult to kill them.

if you dont have them

rule no 1- check your corners

rule no 2- dont run into the open like a mindless idot

"bush campers" if you know where to find them then how about you be cautious when near bushes? they're not invisible.

It is a buttload of bush campers on Bf3 and the game overall is campish because its they play style but come on now? Camping in a bush? Really? And i keep telling people this engine is old and in 2 years they doing another engine due to I.D Tech 4 being released. Yeah it aint 5 the one "Rage" use but its better than a engine that was used with a game back in 1999(Quake 3) lol. Bf3 guns can feel different but the gameplay will never match CODs even with the fact the engine is old. It might not be as fun to you or me then it was at first but the new players will Love it. Just like how I loved and worshiped the game when I first started.

Are you ******* serious? when black ops first came out, it was the glitchiest, unsecure bug-filled piece of **** i've ever seen... after 8 million patches it was finally playable, Call of duty would benifit if they had beta,

BTW battlefield 3 beta was bad, but it will be fixed, BUT BO when it first came out was WAY WORSE that BF3 beta

Yes I have....Played it only 3 times... The graphics looked great but I got to say I couldn't see anyone. I know there was a setting for colorblindness in the 2nd one, so im not sure if BF3 has or not,,,,,,,,,,,, I reserved it with $40 on it. I went to gamestop and canceled it.

EA isn't going for a CoD killer. They just want a successful game. That is all. No one is that stupid to even try for that now. This is why you should stop posting.

They bash CoD in ads because they believe that in 2-3 years, the game will suffer the same fate as Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero - milked every year with innovations getting lower and lower after each release, making a similar game take over easily.

Lol @ that picture. And LOL @ you. It's pretty obvious that all EA intends to do is beat CoD, every single commercial throws it at them. They failed, Battlefield is NOT a CoD killer, and should not have been marketed as such. Any other stupid remarks?

And how many people on their forums, the CoD forums (the ones who like the game), and any other group of people wanted this beta? Tons. They put it out there not just for testing the servers for stability, but because their fans wanted one.

If it was a marketing gimmick, they would have released a current build and released it earlier. Most of you here showed dissatisfaction with the beta and marked the game as a "meh" or "suck". Some people will hesitate to buy because of the horrendous map Dice gave us. They also released it late and some of you think that the retail will come out the same since they have to start shipping by now. Doesn't sound so much like a gimmick.

Anybody with common sense knows it was purely release to generate a bunch of hype, but it just created a divide between hardcore fanboys who consider it the next best thing since Jesus and people who realized all the hype and marketing against Call of Duty hurt the game more than anything. EA already knows what their servers can do, and they know their servers are garbage, and it's been that way for years. So that point is pure moot.
