But according to Treyarch, despite "listening to the community" they have not addressed lag comp at all even though it's the thing that is discussed the most.

Unless I'm mistaken they have not addressed matchmaking either in the new patch. So the inconsistent nature of laggy games and occasional fine OK games should continue exactly as before.

If lag has improved or got worse overall then they're not giving us the full story as to why.

I'm still experiencing terrible lag where I'm 1/2 sec to a full 1 sec behind players that are in the same country while foreign players continue to get a god mode buff. I continue to pull host most of the time too.

Will it ever improve? I have my doubts.

i lost alo t of items all my token my grenade flies like a curve ball and my guns shooting blanks now yes they made a mess trying to fix a good game it is terrible now two thumbs down bad update

Im feeling the pain too. The thing is with the patch, if you have played LEAGUE PLAY at all it carries over to regular play. You are matched with homos who are just as good or better than you more accuralty. My advice is throw the game in the garbage or just get better. Just geting better would mean a lot of shooting around corners, duck diving and rolling around 10 ft boulders that are in my opinion ghost boulders, and take it up the ass like a true treyarch sheep.

Exactly my sentiment, I'm glad I'm not alone. I don't even fully understand how it can be possible. It was like an immediate switch and I knew it could be be all me (I had just prestiged, so that made it even worse). The Chicom used to be my gun and it's not a gun I see used a lot. I use to run a 2.0-4.0 nearly every game, now I'm lucky to break even and have to stress out for a 2.0, it's honestly painful. I used to say "man, I feel this game is balanced. I rarely die cheaply". Now it seems 75% of my deaths are completely unavoidable insta-gibs from ARs. I never felt like any situation before was "no guy has any chance" unless they had their back turned. Now I'm gone before I can fire off two shots.

Hell, even worse is that I'm still getting 2-3 shots up on people and they still miracles pull a kill out of their butt. I burst 3 pulls of a chicom into someone and they turn around, look at me with their AR and I fall over. I don't know if the gun has just gone super down hill or it's connection. I've noticed it on others too so I'm leaning on connection.

I've gone from maybe 3 out of 4 gun fights being WTF instant deaths to maybe 1 in 5. It's been actually playing like a real game instead of a 3rd rate indy game since the patch. First time I've had fun in the game since release. I feel like I'm my old self again playing MW3 or BO1.

I think they changed the skill based match making to broaden the range. I've never seen a player more than 50 pts below me in any TDM lobby. Now I'm seeing 100 and even 125 below me. So the connection is MUCH MUCH better with more people to choose from.

I like the patch - but lag compension is still present.

Did you not read what i said? I am a network engineer i know how to set up a damn network and can guarantee ive forgotten more about networking than you have ever learned.

If it was working fine before the patch and crap after its obviously not my network

before u complain make sure u know how to better ur connection through ur router settings in every way possible. Then u may complain.

Feel the same OP went from a few lag spikes a game to every time i see a enemy...i wish teyarch would pull there heads out. Makes me really miss the original IW team :-(

I had pretty good connection 90% of the time before patch, was able to maintain a positive KD with +20 kills almost every game. Now after the patch im back to 95% of my games being about a half second behind like all of MW3, how do you guys consistantly screw this up? went from going 37-7 games to 4-27 games
