Call of Duty - Dark Extract

Hello,

My name is Jiesang and I have worked on a few Call of Duty titles before. Recently, what used to be infinity ward, lost all rights to the Modern Warefare series, which lead that series to mesh; that's where my job basically went to rubbish. The series was doomed to end after MW3 anyhow, which the idea of a fourth of detrailed soon. This left me with no other contacts or ways of work, which lead me to meet up with an old friend, Rob Bowling.

He discussed the series future, but never mentioned 'Modern Warefare' at all; which didn't surprise me. Never were his idea's lucid or vivid, but a just an idea. Which I shrugged it was, until a few days ago. Basically, he had ideas to move from Activision and onto a more, barren company, 'Neversoft'. I laughed to myself at this idea and totally forgot about it, until a few days ago when I was emailed a link to the Neversoft website, talking about the Call of Duty they are working on, as we speak.

I had emailed Rob asking him about his plans in further detail but he denied talking about any of it. Little did he know, and I even know, that I did remember a blur of information he had told me many, many months ago. He explained that the next Call of Duty is indeed not a Modern Warefare game and is in fact a whole new series named, 'Dark Extract' or something on the lines of that if I remember correctly. The game is linked to the MW series, but not MW3; instead, Modern Warefare 2. From what I remember, after the mission, "Loose Ends" in MW2, where Ghost and Roach are radding Vladimir Makarov's estate, the two snipers 'Archer' and 'Toad' are high away; on a hilltop witnessing the dramatic scenes below.

I need to quote what he Rob said, "Archer, he's not who you think he is. He's more than you think," and then he followed on by saying something on the lines of, "Archer, of course, is a codename," then he told me he's legal name, which was, "Akim Marwick". The name's origin is interesting, as both the names are from different regions of the world. Akim, I searched, is some type of Russian name, whilst Marwick is a British surname. He told me that Akim was from Sakhha Republic situated in East Russia. Akim is the protagonist, followed by his friend, 'Toad'.

After they both witness the horiffic events of Ghost and Roach, they keep a close eye on the bodies. They then go and see what happen to find Ghost with a pulse and is barley alive; Roach is otherwise. Whilst this is happening, Toad vanishes from the campsite and I believe they hike through the wilderness until they get to some sort of civilisation.

The two are picked up by authorites and are locked in a prison cell, through the events of MW3. This next thing Robert told me really surprsied me. He said that Ghost (Simon) and Archer (Akim) escape from this prison but when found by the U.S militrary, are relocated back to America to see the destruction that Makarov had caused. The government both explain what happened through them years they were missing but still keep them in government and military walls. Task 141 is presumed all dead, and Ghost's death was faked perfectly. Leaving them to relocate Ghost to Johannesburg, and Archer to Oman (or in that region). I think after that, news is revealed that 'Toad' was close pals with Makarov and he begins building, what Makarov left behind.

Like I said, I'm not sure if this is hard proof but this is what of I recall Bowling saying to me that day. Of course, I can not be sure if that he is going to be working with this story with Neversoft either. But what I can say about the casting, is that I recall him saying that the voice actor for Akim (Archer) is Garret Dillahunt and the theme for it is Daybreak by Brian Reitzell.
