well up until last week i was playing mw3 fine, till i joined our clan on elite. since then i have not been able to lobby up at all. so went and got bo2 because all my mates saythey have had less lag and connection errors on it out here in south africa..but everyone xcept me. now they are also in clans on elite. and no problem. but my clan is in US. since ive joined it, no gaming online if i get in i cant do ****, then get disconnected, and then finally signed out of psn? any ideas?

i've been having trouble too, but i just keep trying and eventually i can connect.. seems like with so many ppl playing BO2, the mw3 servers should be fine

a newly created account this evening recycling the same bullsh*t activision tells us that doesn't work. hmm... i smells fake acct.

Hey Bobtheblower, The servers get overflowed with traffic a lot, so it may confuse it and say they are offline, or "unavailable" at this time. What I do is just backing out and click on connect again, after usually about the third time, It works.

There really is no solution to this, you can try some silly things people are recommending, or you can just wait it out, be patient and try something like resetting your router, then trying again.

I have had a few issues to.

I'm convinced the game is going to grind to a halt soon!

@bobtheblower, that is not a solution, it's a temp fix. give it a day or 2 and it will happen again, or even the next time you turn your xbox on.

don't give activision more money by buying BO2 because thats what they are counting on. saps like you to just keep throwing money at them.

GUY"S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i've found a solution (:, just go in multiplyer to vault and let it connect with xbox live. Then press B and you'll go back to the multiplayer menu and press xbox live again and it wil connect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . and I gone back to the main menu and select multiplayer again and chose xbox live he emediately connected!!1

To give you a little more perspective, the problem is the same with Black Ops 2 and I have been unable to get a resolution from Activision for over a week. We tried MW3 last week because we couldn't access the servers on BO2 and realized that both games are having the same problem. So, don't buy Black Ops 2 in the hopes that you will be able to get online, so far that doesn't seem to be the case.

yeah, it really really sucks. I quess i won't look at my mw3 anymore and just buy black ops 2. And mayby someon comes op with a solution...

i have the same issue cant belive the poor rsponse from activision its the same story evry time a new game comes out. its not my fault i have to wait a little longer before i buy it
