I assume all have set matchmaking to best and had no joy?

does the lag experience vary with game mode?

aslo what country and ISP do folks use?

wondering if thereis any common thread to the experience as there has been with previous CoDs at times.

I agree with all, I have a 100 mbps download with 10 upload and that I pay extra for and am constantly getting screwed over on gun fights where I shoot a guy in, he turns around and then shoots me in the foot and I die. The whole time I am dumping round after round in his head and upper torso... WTF???

Why is it that I'm paying for a good connection when I dont get any good from it? And I know what I am talking about when I say my connection is good I work with broadband cable every day> who ever is in charge please fix this issue, it is *(!@#$%^&* retarded!!!

I've had the exact same experience, I was a top 100 player on WaW, was almost as good on MW2, on BO1 I had a 2.2 k/d, on MW3 it was 2.5, came to BO2 and it is 1.1. I've had a few good games, and every other game it's hard to stay positive.

And players I have known since WaW, who was just as good if not better, are either going incredibly well on BO2 with 2.5 + k/ds, or they are doing as shitty as I am with 1.0 - 1.5 k/ds.

Yes, I have changed it to best. But that doesn't change anything and it doesn't for anyone else either. The fact is the lag comp is way too much, so even in a game with minimal lag everyone is still out of synch most of the time.

I often get host too, but the lag comp is still just as bad. The fact is there's nothing that can be done to make it better, the issue is with the game, nothing else.

BO2 is making MW3 look like Game of the year because of this horrable lag/lag comp. I have had 3 maybe 4 games where I wasnt 1 second behind in every gun fight. In those games I went 29-0, 44-4, 34-2, and 50-10. The rest of my games, I went barely positive.

im haven no issues with lag comp my hitdetec seems to be off a lil bit i should be winning more of the gun fights im getting in but other then that its not really laggin for me have you messed with the search host opt? and out of all the cod games includen bop2 i cant play mw3 for nothing cause its laggin so bad

There was a post just like this one for MW3 with thousands and thousands of signatures, gamers begging for devs to fix the horrible lag compensation issue. Nothing ever happened. MW3's lag comp code is as broke today as it was on release day, one year ago.

Why don't we just make one thread with all the lag comp issues in it? I see every other thread is in regards to lag comp and how this game is frustrating everyone, including myself.

My connection is fine always has been, never had a huge problem with MW3 and all other games are fine.

Currently the lag comp for me in B02 is making the game unplayable, I get 6-8 hit markers and no kill, I watch replay and I've only gotten one, maybe two shots off. No jittery lag or what I call jumpy lag, just registering hitmarkers yet the other player can kill me with one shot from a pistol.
