Its all about having fun. When I first started on W@W I was God Awful, but still just had fun. Nobody yelled or screamed at me when I had a bad game, and I eventually improved. I always say I am an average player, and I don't have any aspirations of being an MLG pro.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I try to enjoy MW3, but its so hard sometimes with the way things are. Not only is the game itself a mess, the community just seems more hostile than ever. I get a few awesome people from time to time that are just fun to play with, but its happening fewer and far between.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I enjoy myself when I play with my friends, but they are not enjoying playing anymore either, so its harder to catch them online.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Keep having fun man, thats what its all about.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:7f0c8a86-09fd-4ca5-b135-0b54c2a912c2] --&gt;</description>

I never have problems with players like you, guys who are just playing to have fun, try hard, and enjoy playing. I am not, nor have I ever claimed to be... the greatest player out there. I have good games and bad games. I think that would help better players enjoy the game much more, and alloow noobs to get "hooked" and therefore increase market share for this genre.&amp;#160;&amp;#160; Forget about death streaks, etc...&amp;#160; just match people based on connection AND skill.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:0a814e16-2fc3-4c21-a40d-15c75458e610] --&gt;</description>

I was part of a discussion about this one night with Ghandi and he said that, though the team-making aspect uses more data than I mentioned, I had the general concept right.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;There is no short and sweet way to explain the details of how team-making works. I guess the easiest way to say it is like I did earlier: each person in the lobby is weighted by a whole bunch of statistics. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Even people in a party are weighted. If it is a party of six, then the other six members are automatically placed on the opposing team. But if there are, say three players in a party, they are weighted and then the other players are divided up to weight each team as close to the same as possible.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Unfortunately, when a party is in the mix, it is just about impossible to weight the two teams so that there is an actual balance in skill as measured by objective results. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The emphasis, starting with MW3, upon clans has made it much more difficult for lone wolf players to play against other random players. They always have a kdr somewhere between 1.0 and 1.4. They almost always have their clan tag title on denoting their clan is level 5 or 7. I am my own clan and I'm level 8. Yay! &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Hey, you know what's really hillarious about these guys that are so adamant that they have some sort of U.S. Constitutional or U.N. constitutional right to curse weak players?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1 - They are not getting paid to win games ... and they are especially not getting paid to win against randoms. Or ... at least ... I sure hope they don't feel 3L337 for doing so.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2 - Obviously Spectre is not going to take over the world if someone loses a match. We have our preferences set to play voice chat through both headset and speakers though, that way if we get randoms that are communicating we can switch to game chat.
