This is why i'm ditching MW3 in a couple of weeks and keeping it old school with some Counter-Strike.. back to the good old days where perks didn't exist!

I am on your side but I wouldn't waste any more virtual ink on this guy. He is just a troll who is trying to get a rise out of people with his non-sensical arguments and personal attacks. On another thread, he was insisting that "opinions can be wrong". Its a lost cause.

I'm sorry but you are the cancer of COD. It is people like you who thinks that they are always right and the others are wrong. The devs said that this game is fast paced and it is fast paced but the devs didn't say that camping is wrong and prohibited.

In my eyes, your kind is the worst type of player in COD. Your kind is the one that ruins the game because by your logic, anyone who doesn't play your way, deserves to get grieved, trolled and trapped in a corner just because they camp or do things you don't like. You are the cancerous filth and not them. Open up your eyes and realize that the problem is you. You are the one with issues just because other players doesn't play the way you like them to.

If you actually read Surgeon's original post, please explain ####exactly how it is that a player, trapping a member of his/her own team in a corner and denying them a chance to help their combined effort by using a killstreak on the opposing team is "... getting justice"

And even if Surgeon was camping, you don't screw over a member of your own team.

Wow. I step away for a couple hours and this thread explodes!

The notion that someone "can tell when someone is camping," that is laughable, at best.

I use whatever playstyle is working for the match. That is usually determined by the map. That explained, there are some maps where I proudly "camp."

However, it is very rare that I have someone on my team complain that I am camping when I am actually camping. I've seen an uptick in this phenomenon lately. I play a couple of matches where I am camping and we go into a third match. On the third match, I don't camp at all ... but suddenly I've got some idiot trying to corner block me.

Apparently those guys know the difference between camping and rushing, too?

And another thing, SuperCookie ... you complain that campers force you to change your playstyle and you should not have to do that.

Well, why should the camper have to change his playstyle to make you happy?

This game is not the pure "arcade" shooter some people keep acting like it is. The game mechanics require at least some vague understanding of martial arts.

In all martial arts an ability to adapt to the situation at hand is required.

In Call of Duty, that means sometimes you "camp," sometimes you stay on the move.

Everyone that promotes 100% run & gun thinks this game strictly involves physical skill. Well if you're so adept at physical skill, why are you playing a video game? Why aren't you, instead, on a grid-iron?

This game requires more mental skill than it requires physical skill.

The proof of that is in all the complaints about campers. If you were the WISER player, you'd find a way to overcome campers. You don't have to worry about size or physical ability ... every character in the game is the same height, same weight, and has the same speed. The only variable is reaction time - a function of physical skill.

The "balance" to that physical skill is the requirement of mental skill.

And, SuperCookie, please stop calling people that do something different from you stupid. Since Fox is on the prowl, I'm surprised you haven't already been warned about it.

Yes, sometimes I am a camper. Because there are many reasons to camp. And I will gladly camp if the blind rushers keep running up to me(which they actually do a lot, because like most of them, they're bad players that are too lazy to simply toss a flashbang). And sometimes I'm a rusher. When I feel it would benefit me. I'm not saying one is more skillful. But rushing is certainly not any MORE skillful than camping.

Camping requires brains and tactics if you plan on doing good. If you sit in a corner, you WILL die.

Rushing requires... a good connection... Just kidding... Kind of. In MW3 it's true.

But seriously, rushing requires a little more map knowledge than a camper, for obvious reason. Doesn't make it more skillful.

There's no way someone can be stupid enough to tell me camping isn't a playstyle. Or even try to tell me how I should play the game in general.

That doesn't disprove the fact that rushing is still the right way to play.

You have to be trolling! There's no way someone can be stupid enough to say that rushing doesn't take any more skill compared to camping. You can't possibly think that running around, dodging bullets, knowing when to back down, and knowing when to continue takes less skill than just sitting in a corner ADS.

They're popular because the commentary is funny. SP33DY and D4 told D20 to play like that so they can commentate. Their comments are sarcastic.

The game is as fast as you want it to be. You want it to be fast paced, then go run around. It won't change. If the campers stop you from doing that, then you're a bad player.

Rushing takes no more skill than camping.

And you keep telling people to look at KYR's camper justice videos.

Take a look at the popularity of his camper commentary videos yourself. Just as popular.

The more you try to tell everyone else how to play, the more stupid you look.

The devs said this game was a fast-paced, arcade-style shooter. Also, Robert Bowling said they were going to try to make the maps less campable (but they failed. Miserably).

What? I know there are other playstyles; there just aren't very many. Only about three come to mind (camping isn't one of them because it takes no skill).

I'm guessing about 95% of the community is bad then because they hate and are fed up with the cowardice of campers. Nope, you're wrong. Camping slows down the fast-paced game which is CoD. Camping is cancerous filth.
