natas, if you're curious enough to find out for yourself, get a friend to host a private match, call in a care package, and back out. Then you can ask your friend if it stayed or not.

even if i tested this in a private match i dont think it will prove anyhting because the game will end if i did .

I think the only things that leave the game as far as helicopters go are AH-6 (because they have nothing to guard) and Ospreys (because nobody is controlling it)

Just out of curiosity.. why are you leaving matches in the middle? There are multiple threads on here complaining about that behavior.

so if i have a heli and back out it stays too ? thats seems weird to me . i am going to try this with a friend and see if he can get the package after i leave . then i will post on youtube ( for those that care lol ) . i just assumed it would be gone like a claymore .

It doesn't leave the game/ Disappear.

BUT when the next person tries to retrieve it, it will be as if it was theirs (it gets retrieved fast)

it usually does or i have seen where a person has thrown it and then left and it disappears with them

does it dissapear if you leave the game / kind of like equipment does if you die ? just wondering if you back out instead of having it jacked by enemy if its gone .
