The developers have no way of verifying who was actually behind the controller during play. In the Terms of Service you agreed to when you first started playing, you agreed to take all responsibility for any action taken on your account.

If someone else did something and got you reset, I'm sorry and that sucks, but you authorized them to use your account, so it is still your responsibility. If they used your account without your permission, you may be able to have it reversed, but it may be quite difficult for you to prove your case.

You can try appealing to customer support (the forums are not the place for appeals and won't accomplish anything), if you want to pursue the issue.

so i got reset and i think i know why, sometimes i go over my step brothers house and he uses my account to play not his.so i think he tryed boosting on my account and now i got banned and deranked for something i didnt do

First to the people that have responded to the Op with kind and supporting words of encouragement. DON'T just dont he knows it was wrong and he felt and i am sure he has seen there is no way in the Cod Gods blue sky that he is 20th prest, and can look me in the eye with his FMG akimbos and final stand perk and say that he did not know.

To me if your friend had to tell you it was safe you should have checked into this and not risked your max ranked account.

Looks like you can't trust THAT friend anymore huh? Through 20 prestiges and probably around 18-20 days of playtime you should have known that that was boosting. You got what you deserved and hopefully your friend got banned right along with you. Have fun leveling back up.

So I got banned and I was in 20th prestige level 80. My friend told me he needed help and told to join his match in Face Off 1v1. He told me to keep putting my tact down and he will kill me and he told me it was safe ! -.- I dont boost I had a 1.48 KD. Check my vaults so I got deranked 20 prestiges for helping a friend for 2 games i didn't know that was boosting -.- Cant we work something out ?
