mine is the rpg-7 250 multi-kills now at over 800 wish there was a gold title for it though.

The Stinger is great for taking down air support quickly and easily. You get 2 rockets per life, and you can knock out a whole Strafe run with 2 shots very quickly...

Nothing else in the game can match that...

Uhhh I'm pretty sure even if you kill it it drops the package....unless you somehow get it during the flight path but I'm pretty sure that's impossible.

Actually.... "I'd rather teammates use a launcher they could get kills with and clear out rooms of campers or atleast use a machine pistol" were his words. Just add the words "Instead of the stinger" infront of that quote, and you should now understand what he was trying to say.

im an lmg man -love my ls86 with thermal and silcencer - run with BEP and it obliterates air support - love taking out care packages before they can drop.

Proudest title is survivor - getting a knife kill after running out of ammo but am only a hundred or so headhsots off the 1000 for my l86 - will that basge loud and proud!!

I started using the SMAW a little while ago because its free-fire and vehicle lock on which is as convenient as it gets. Also, i just checked and i currently have a surprising 0 kills with the stinger, haha.

1 rocket to take down stuff... lock on targeting (unlike the RPG) carry two rockets instead of one with the SMAW... SMAW takes two hits to take things down unlike the Stinger.

Mine is for a knife kill after completely running out of ammo it was out of necessity rather than a attempt to get it.

The thing is, I like using LMGs against people as well. It's my style. Suppressive gunfire, firing behind cover, getting people behind cover, holding choke points, etc. Funny when people call me out for camping. What do you want me to do with an LMG? bum rush into spawns and not get any kills because it takes 3 minutes to pick up an LMG after sprinting? Lol.

If people don't like using LMG's as weapons then they should definitely go with a stinger. But I have a feeling a lot of people haven't even tried using LMGs (correctly)

That is exactly the same way I feel on the matter...

They aren't called LIGHT machine guns, because they are for run and gunning. They are called LIGHT machine guns because they are only just light enough so they can be carried rather than vehicle mounted...

IMO The L86 is the best of the bunch, but I have stopped using it now as I got over 5K kills with it, and 5K is my top out number for ANY gun...

When used correctly, the LMGs can be a great primary choice...

I did say earlier that "we were kinda arguing the subjective" which means the same thing you just pointed out... lol

Because the 2 weapons are valuable in different ways, means they cannot be directly compared. As I was originally asked why the Stinger was better than the Smaw and Javelin, I presented the reasons it is the best from an anti air standpoint...

What our friend Esy pointed out is the fact that the Stinger is ONLY really any use against vehicles which is a weakness in comparison to the other launchers. And that is correct, so to ask which is better doesn't really cover it...

To be clear, I won't argue against anything that Esy has said in here really. He sounds like a fellow Anti Air Suppoert Pro...

He knows just what he is doing I would say... Same as I do...

Yes that is all fair comment there and I won't argue with that at all...

The Stinger trick is basically switching to it instantly (location allowing) and glancing at the mini map to see the approach direction and simultaneously pulling both triggers and aiming in that direction just above your horizon (roof tops, branches, etcetera)...

Most of the time your shot is off and you are back on your gun before it has made it onto the map. Psychological bruise to it's owner, no bullets used, and a chuckle from the team...
