I have an elite xbox and premium xbox up untill last week both xboxs were able to play all the maps but now one will play the maps the other has the message about downloading the dlc. Have followed the post 9 comment and keep getting the same message over and over. Paid for elite status and cant even use the maps on my main xbox. Use the one hard disk between the 2. Is this going to be fixed?

Im in a similar boat to everyone. I have the red message of death saying i can only play original maps.. So can't choose between playing original maps only or all maps. But when i play multiplayer i still get some of the DLC maps in it. Its weird. Saying i can only play with Original maps yet the DLC is there lol. I can also select them in Private matches..

ANOTHER thing though is i can't download the new DLC from the PS.Store. Sez im not authorized. Whats going on there? Im an Elite and Founder member. Icon is still there in the Elite menu.

Hey everyone,

If you want to play all of your DLC contents you must download all the DLC's.Because the hosts does not open a server only for a one DLC.They open servers that includes all the DLC's,so you must download all the DLC's or you will get the same error.

im kinda guessing that every body has downloaded the free map packs and the 1s they have bout 2 and im having the same prob and the only 1s i can play is the 1v1 2v2 3v3 maps and they are the dlc 1's

do i have to pay the £11.49 to enable me to start playing online again?

can i not just play without the new maps?

if so how do i do this as it looks like i have to pay 11.49

ive also tried redownloading and it still wont work the service for this game sucks what a waste of time and money

I just updated to 1.19 and all hell broke loose. I can do spec ops but cant do anything else this sucks monkey nutz

It's not a mater of when the crapy patch is released, the real issue is they are in a rush to patch before testing the patch thoroughly....

I work in communications dealing with patching computers on the military network, and guess what....we have to test the patches for awhile before it's released...comon sense much?

The update f**ded it up... pay them loads of money and get shitty updates which screws the entire game.. they need to have th common sense to relase updates over the week not during the weekennd

This is a joke.

A if it wasnt bad enough that the entire multiplayer element of the game has been ruined by the lag compensation issue for the past X months, now I am forced to download a new map which to be honest I dont really care for anyway, and then when I go through the download process it is an absolute shambles. I have been downloading/redownloading, restarting the system etc...and still it doesnt recognise that they have been downloaded and now I cant play any maps at all.

I play this game out of habbit despite all it faults, but this download is has been the final straw, I'll be trading this in for BF3 this weekend.

Seriously, MW3 has been one of the worst cames of the last few years, not only the original game but the ongoing user experience has been awful.

Another loyal customer....no longer loyal.

Ok, I am not even able to play original maps original modes/games..

I uninstalled ALL DL content, downloaded everything available and reinstalled to no avail.

The only things I can access is the face off mode and specops.

I hope there is a fix out there for me. I don't understand how I am unable to play regular matches. It states that I need to download some free content, which I have done in the past and about a half hour ago.

This is very frustrating and redownloading everything did not work.

Please can someone look into this for me.

I had exact same problem the dlc I already had wasn't there and came up with the red writing to download what I was entitled to (as I get it free for being founder) and found if you download this months content it has something on there that makes them work again so I have all maps back. Honestly download them and it works

Make sure to download the July and August DLC drops and the required access keys via the in-game store.

make sure you get the free maps they gave, for some reasone you have to. I had to replace my PS3 and redownloaded everthing and it said i needed to get the maps. I went a redownloaded them again. then relized the free maps have a different pic on it instead of the 3. Once i got that all works well again.

Had same problem, I followed the directions from the dev on the first page of this thread and eveything worked first try. Try reading instead of bitching
