Well I don't think anyone should be taking those comments about the game too seriously because he only played a small portion of the game for about a couple minutes or more. And watching people play the game and trying to figure out the control scheme at the same time just tells you that there is a learning curve when playing.

And no, it doesnt really bother me. People hated Spider-Man 3 and I liked it a lot back in the days. Aslong as it's Spider-Man and open world I will enjoy it for sure (I mean updated graphics with realistic web swinging in an open world NYC is the most important thing for me in a SM game).

Hearing that information...does that make you a little disappionted ? These are things I think the developers have had enough time to get rite. It makes me very angry. Kinda messes it up for me and the game isnt even out yet. Smh

Not me recording, but I think the overall movement and swinging looks damn realistic (the first video shows a few seconds of swinging, reminded me a lot of the movie trailer).

The guy that uploaded the video said that the combat isnt as good as the Arkham City freeflow combat (hard to control, no lock on, it gets complicated with a lot of people shooting at you).
He also said that you can use e.g. L1 on the PS3 to escape from a dangerous situation (Spider-Man will jump away and webzip himself somewhere safe).
There is no health bar, all you see is blood on the screen when you take damage and your suit gets damaged.
The city is quite big
The boss fight with Rhino was pretty lame (same as other SM games, Rhino gets stuck and you beat him up)
You apparently can interact with civilians ("if you swing down to the streets and push X you can introduce yourself to them. Which is a nice touch.")

Another guy in the comments has played it too and said even tho they point out things they didnt like it's still a must buy title and probably the best SM game out there.

Erm yes I would say so. Dee said he will go there in the easiest & most spectacular way. I dont really see a point in first webbing to a wall, then jump on a bus, then swing around another building if you could go straight to the other rooftop. Imagine Spider-Man would always go there by jumping on other things instead of using the fastest way possible. Looks cool when you see it for the first time, gets annoying when you are used to it and want to get somewhere fast.

I don´t know, is it just me or does Spiderman only webzip himself back and forth via webrush..

I won´t jugde the mechanic but it gets a little bit boring.. where are the "super awesome spectacular parkour stylish moves?(Dee´s quote)

I don´t see him pulling off any of these. First person view, cool. Swinging, cool. but webrush, in my opinion... I don´t know.. maybe it changes when you´re on the ground. =)

Not my videos. The guy answers a few questions in the comments (such as Garfield most likely wont voice Peter)
