I've experienced this multiple times in black ops. I've yet to see it in mw3.

You know I always figured it was a team mate behind them , i should know better that there is a hack for everything, ive come across this, and i end up raging on my teammate that I couldnt tell if it was an enemy because his dumb A is in the way.. could very well be an enemy with a hack... geeez

When all my team have green names above their heads and the enemy are red why would an IW employee on the other side have a green name? Why would they choose that colour rather than any other another? IF IW were in the game why would they want to identify themselves anyway? I was killed twice by a guy on the other team with a complete green name.

The 7 vs 5 is a random thing.

I''ve been on the 7 side before, with a full team of 6 plus one random.

Maybe the random was an IW employee?

Umm guys.. Only people who have "green text" for a gamer tag are I.W employees. As of you didn't know that? Ive seen it only once in mw3.

I've also seen it, along with no name team mates.

Seen a lot of 7 vs 5 lobbies, too.

I have, what else seems to be popular is 8 vs 6 ( only noticed it in TDM ) how that is possible i have no idea ( since the lobby is 12 - 6 vs 6 ) and you are correct, the 8 on one team is fully active.

At first i thought it was lag *people quitting and new one's joining, however for most of the match there is 8 fully active players. Watch for it

im always getting killed like that last night i was on a 18 killstreak and i saw a person with a green name then they killed me turned out to be a enermy and i didnt even know

I reported a guy on Dome for it and two weeks later he'd been reset. The green text was a pretty poor attempt, the font was different, the text was a little blurred and was the colour was much brighter so it wasn't hard to spot.

I too have witnessed this. Whether there was a friendly directly behind them or not I am unsure.

Usually after watching the killcam and taking into consideration where it happened (like was the enemy in a wide open area where a teamate could have been anywhere behind the enemy), I will come up with a reason why it wasnt the enemy I seen with a green gamertag. Alot of times I will chalk it up to mistaken identity lol like a UFO in the sky, if there is any possiblity it could be man made at all its probably man made. If there is any possiblity I didnt see the enemy with a green gamertag I assume I didnt. But there is that 10% that i just cant explain.

I see it all the time... I think that friendlies should be marked with a little green or blue triangle above their head, and it should disappear whenever you aim down your sights.

I've seen it about a half dozen times in KC and TDM. I thought it was someone lined up until I saw the killcam and realized we were the only ones there every time it happened
