Oh yup if I play BO I'm usually on Combat Training I hate that game playing online against random nubs, course'n i hate MW3 online against random nubs too but theres no Combat training and I hate Survival now :/

You saw 100k? I have to ring the bullsh!t bell on that one. Personally I think that the number in question represents everyone playing MWR, WAW, and BO. I think they pooled the games. That is just my opinion, I have no facts to back it up.

because then at the start of the game we should have seen around 2 million and we never saw the number higher then 100k

It's possible that the total number includes all consoles.

*edit: remember Black Ops was made for all 3 consoles by TreyArch, therefore all game servers ran through TreyArch and so they are able to show total numbers for all consoles. MW3 only shows Wii because Infinity Ward runs the servers for Xbox/PS3, but TreyArch, which ported MW3, handles only the Wii server. It makes sense.

Unluckily for me, its hard to find a match

Its really slow to find one TDM game... SOLO

And I know my connection is really good so I guess its just luck or something.

You said it read 28000, but calculated it to only 8000. Therefore, there's a "2" that shouldn't be there at the beginning.

Does it really matter? You can still find a match easily in most of the major gamemodes on Beast Ops.

20k people are either in private matches or AFK......

Which makes sense, since Black Ops is more fun in private.

Also, don't forget the people waiting to join a lobby, and the people IN A lobby.
I think the "playlist" headcount only counts the people ACTUALLY in a game, not waiting for a game or looking for one, which in CoD on wii, you always seem to be doing.

The ratio of the amount of people doing that compared to the people playing are too great to be considered realistically "in the main menu" so no, the numbers just don't update accurately...

maybe there are people who have the game in their consoles, but are still on the menu? I have a few friends that never turn their consoles off, they literally keep it on with games in it and all it says is that they are at the "Main Menu"...
