See... that's the thing. It only gives others a chance by discouraging winners from competing. If they decide to compete anyways, Elite gets to keep the prize. Usain Bolt would still be free to compete... the IOC just wont have to pony up for another gold medal, strickly speaking.

I'm with realjoker on this. It's a cost-cutting measure... nothing more.

Have to admit this is the worst rule i've ever heard of I came 4th in the last 100k tourny and won a camera bundle I PAID for elite to actually win the call of duty elite prizes I don't give two monkeys about new maps or all these amazing online features I care about competing to win money from a game I enjoy playing. You don't see usain bolt being told sorry you won gold in the last olympics you can't compete in this one, everyone has a fair chance in every competition as everyone is on a level playing field if your good enough you deserve to win the prizes everyone complaining that they dont have a fair chance blah blah your simply not good enough to win prizes in this particular game prizes/prize money should be given to the best players simple and you go on about people winning by cheating beachhead go through the videos of the winners to spot the cheating... Stupid rule, I want my money back...

i think that when the 100k days are here top of all 3 teirs should win somat so people who aint as good say who get top of bronze will get somat maybe not mutch but somat then top silver will get a little better prize its not that its hard to cheat to get top of a teir as the stats are changing all the time p.s ban all the cheats

Anyway's i never actually realise this but a friend of mine told me that Beachhead only made this rules to save money but not to give everyone a chance to win because if you win a prize that is over $100.01 then you will have to wait 90 days before you can win another prize and for the last few months on the elite all of the prizes on the elite are worth over $101.01 feel free to check all the prizes on your elite right now and you will not find any prize below that price range.

This way they are making sure that if you win, you will either not be eligible to win either for 90 days or 12 months either way if you do win a prize on the elite you might as well not play the elite for another 90days.

Like majority of the comments on this post i think this rule is rubbish, if you are good enough to win then win, no one should ever be stopped from winning.

If Beachhead wants to give everyone a chance to win a prize then why don't they just give the top 100 or top 1000 players a prize in every operation???EXACTLY

Beachhead should have also gone with my idea on awarding players with prizes for the amount of badges they have won on the eliite.

Beachhead has now made some new and pathetic and ridiculous rules for the elite operations stated below: Beachhead this is not fair what about operations that are 100K PRIZE. 1 person should be allowed to win one 100k operation. It is not fair. Beachhead you need to change the rules. I also want a chance to win an 100k prize. If you are going to make these rules then you will have to remove all 100k tournament then. You cannot make these pointless rules because you have doosh bags who think that core team deathmatch is the same as hardcore team deathmatch and when they don't win they cry.

There needs to be an addition rule for the 100k tournament. Which is you can only win it once.

This is the type of crap that just makes people want to get a refund. It is bad enough less people do not play in operation with no prize and now worse. YOU MIGHT ASWELL JUST GIVE ALL THE NOOBS AN IPAD.

AND ANYWAYS WHY ARE THE BEST GAMERS IN THE WORLD BEING PUNISHED????????????

Also i am pretty sure that you cannot just make this new rule until the 1 year contract is over. Elite stated you would be allowed to win prizes, it did not state how much prizes you can win. Anyways how do you know how much prizes you have won???

Of all the rules to get added....

I agree in that there needs to be a way for people in the ~100-1000 to be able to get something out of ops, (i.e. keep to their promise of "every" player having an opportunity to win something) but to essentially dismiss those who regularly finish in the ~1-99? It's silly.

There really needs to be a division system in place. I know... "But people will play bad so they can qualify in the lower divisions and win". That's why you only offer the best prizes to the best divisions. If people want to cheat the system and screw up their own record so they can win a hat, well all the power to them. If I had the ability to win an 100K op, I know I'd rather go for a 100K op worthy prize.

It could even be made so that once you win a few ops in one division, you move up to the next.

It's a silly rule. It needs to go.

I have myself but not over a set prize, i mean really, you are all going to complain about not being able to win more than $1k from something you only paid $50.00 for.... Go get a job... Good point and so very true. The only ones that will complain are those that think they are entitled to win everything and no one esle should ever have a chance. Which I sort of blame that on Elite and the name choice. Because it causes Elitest mindsets just like the Op seems to have in this case.

Now toward the Op. Yes the rule is fair, no they do not have to remove it just because someone like you gets upset about it. They can change any part of the service at any point they want. They could even end it if they wanted and there is nothing you can do about it really. It is their service so they make the rules regardless if anyone likes them or not. They do not need to make rules that you like.

I see no problem with that you pay your subscription knowing that per season you can only win $1000+ Once

Loads of Competitions have the "One Entry Per Person" rule... with Elite you can enter as many times as you like but only win once... seems fair.

Looks to me as if some people just love to moan... all you people saying the rule is unfair would be on here moaning if the same person had won every top prize.. you would be claiming that person to be a cheat and booster....

In fairness the only person who would complain about this is someone sure that they could win more than once... the only people who are sure they will win ...are the cheats and boosters!

Stop trying to act like you know how to type and write correct when you're obviously missing out the basics of grammar. You dumb illiterate scum. I disagree with this rule, the competition section will no longer become competitive because the top players after they win their prize will not be able to play for 1 year to win a physical prize or 90 days. It's stupid. The whole rule is stupid. Yeah sure they're trying to give the "awful" people to win a prize but that's their fault! They should play more or learn from the top players who earned it all because of how much they like to play the game. MLG sure doesn't ban teams after they win at an event for 10k cash etc.. They are able to play at the next event even if they won at the previous. Beach Head get your crap together. This is the worst rule I have ever seen.

I'm sorry but you all need a couple english courses. This is some of the worst writing I've ever seen, when you try to make an argument nobody is going to take you seriously if you can't form a basic sentence.

realjoker your an idiot by the way, "if your good actually a good player then you'll win." There 100k worth of players in every op, just because your a good player does not in any way guarantee you'll ever win, let alone win more than once. In now way does this compare to the Lakers or Manchester United. They compete against around 30 other teams, we compete with over 100,000 per match. Plus the Lakers aren't winning a give away prize, they're bringing people to the stadiums and bringing in revenue for the league. You winning does nothing for them at all, you are literally just getting a free gift.

Stop being a greedy piece of **** .

Actually you didn't read the whole thing, or didn't actually think about what they said. They can still compete, but will be disqualified from the actual prize, not the champion badge. Which means they wont give the next person the prize, they will keep it. It's another way for them to save money and screw all of us.

I'm with you on this one tallowby. I think they should give other people a chance to win a prize. Not only one of the top 10 players, that quite obviously don't have a real job if they are always playing COD. Sorry realjoker, I agree with their new rule and I havn't played any Lone Wolf Ops.
