      <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:f9145c72-e323-4a75-8a5e-ca5625014c0c] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;in the last 4 cods cod4-blops prestige was pretty useless besides the fact of getting gold on 14th prestige blops or a few extra custom slots and badges. mw3 improved slightly with adding prestige tokens. what i want to see is maybe instead of the usual 40-50 guns in this next call of duty, maybe add up to 100, giving us reason to prestige. lets be honest prestiging after a while gets boring and what, ( in my opinion) would make this game last to the very end would be awarding us 1 or 2 guns at a certian level of prestige. example: prestige 3, lvl 35 unlock (this). and on a side note to this post, i was hoping to see the prestige token on mw3 allow me to keep my gold gun after i prestiged. this did not happen and i was dissapointed. also maybe a pack a punch camo for multiplayer? requireing 1k headshots? hope you guys like this suggestion. if you guys got any more suggestions just post, maybe treyarch will read this!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:f9145c72-e323-4a75-8a5e-ca5625014c0c] --&gt;</description>

For example, in Cod4, to get the gold weapon you had to complete all the headshot challenges for the guns' class. When you see someone in Cod4 with the gold AK you instantly know that they have worked for it (before the hack lobbies...) &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Anything that has no impact on weapon stats and is purely anaesthetical should be something you have to earn in my opinion. Where is the fun in earning gold guns after half of a prestige by just using it, I like to earn things.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It was OK in Black Ops because you had to work your way to 14th prestige but I would still rather the more prestigious camos to be something you have to aim for rather than just conveniently unlock. It would be nice to see various camos being exclusive to certain prestiges rather than just gold. Take prestiging out completly and give us 1 straight line of levels from 1-1000. While slowly working our way up to the max lvl, we would always be unlocking new guns,equiptment,kill streaks. So that no body can trully be almighty and powerfull at lvl 80 just because they choose not to prestige. Constantly unlocking new titles emblems and camos depending on challenges and head shots. Flag caps and bomb planting will also unlock you special gear, that supports caping flags more. Introduce a new map for players who reach 5/10/15. Problem is you split the playlist, but it also siphons it out so that you are playing against players that have played as much as you have. Can't say as skilled because time =/= skill, but players who have played as much as you. They could make these new maps a bit of a higher difficulty. By that I mean more falls, more explosives, and more tactical options. Players who are lower levels would play on maps that are kinder to the player and don't require as much thought into playing. This will certainly piss some of the community off because they don't want to start over but want to experience the entire game. It does incentivize prestiging though.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br style="color: #bcbcbc; font-family: tahoma, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; text-align: -webkit-auto; background-color: #1a1a1a;"/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color: #bcbcbc; font-family: tahoma, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; text-align: -webkit-auto; background-color: #1a1a1a;"&gt;2. Give players a more "powerful" vote when it comes to picking maps. If you are 1-4, your votes count for 1, if you are 5-9 they count for 2, if you are 10-14, it counts for 3, and 15 is 4. Because people prestige you will see many people with 2-3 votes, and they will be able to counter balance the one guy who votes for the crap map and is 15 prestige. This additional power in choosing how they get to play the game will make it sort of worthwhile to prestige.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br style="color: #bcbcbc; font-family: tahoma, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; text-align: -webkit-auto; background-color: #1a1a1a;"/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color: #bcbcbc; font-family: tahoma, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; text-align: -webkit-auto; background-color: #1a1a1a;"&gt;3. Tactical video analysis of maps and gamemodes. The developers make the game with tactics in mind (most of the time). They understand the tactics needed to win certain gamemodes on certain maps. They also know the spots and sight lines that they put in. If you unlocked a 5-10 minute clip every prestige that shows clever tactics and hidden sightlanes on a specific map, you may see players prestiging to get that small advantage.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br style="color: #bcbcbc; font-family: tahoma, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; text-align: -webkit-auto; background-color: #1a1a1a;"/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color: #bcbcbc; font-family: tahoma, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; text-align: -webkit-auto; background-color: #1a1a1a;"&gt;I think the thing with prestiging is that players have to feel more powerful because they prestige. If you have ever played a game where you are leveled, then you know what its like to be a low-level character compared to a high-level character. The advantage should not be so great that the game is broken, but it be enough to warrant the player doing it again. Overall, prestiging needs to respark the desire to do it all over again. Provide some element that keeps it fun.
