You are asking the wrong people you need to ask sony because at the end of the day its them who will need to put the time in the form of a firmware update. But after the multiman issue i doubt install to hdd will be allowed.

Edit: I know why the 360 has it.....it already had so high of a mortality rate from the RROD that if they didn't have the option most of the 360's would be dead.

Sure.

Changes and benefits can include but are not limited to:

Reduced load on the PS3 Blu-Ray drive, potentially* reduced game loading times, potentially improved texture loading due to HDD having faster seek speeds which may give rise to a smoother game performance.

*I say potentially because there have been occasions in the past where titles on PS3 have had sizable installs which have done absolutely eff-all to improve the experience. An HDD install (full or partial) does not magically cure bad coding, but in our case many of us do genuinely believe it will help - if it's done properly of course.

I'm not expecting any information during Gamescom, afterwards however is a different matter. Coming closer to September now and nary a peep about the game on our platform.

I am sure I have signed this a few tmes. Dam I hope they listen. There is no possible way that the game wouldnt run a touch better plus savng all of our BD's.

This is a great idea... but on a side note they could careless about PS3 users... if they cared about us as they did Xbox players then we wouldn't be getting a DVD game on a Blu-Ray. In all our game from every 3rd party dev should have better graphics, sound and gameplay over the xbox yet we are actually given less. Hopefully this will change since the next Xbox has a Blu-ray drive in it... which they had to purchase from SONY... so now SONY makes money off of every Playstation and Next-gen Xbox made..... SUCKERS!!! Hahaha

Ill sign this. I play CoD a lot and sometimes after a few hours of play my PS3 sounds like its starting to struggle a bit. Kinda like its breathing heavy.
