Activision can't afford an open beta, look what happened to BF3, if Activision release a beta then it's pretty much certain that sales will plumet................

Maybe you don't remember but Black Ops PS3 version had a few problems on release date.

And let's be honest here, their private closed beta doesn't deal with the thousands of players on release date

call of duty have there own private beta's and they do not open it to the public. they pay beta testers to test ther games. and about playable the first day i have always been able to ply the day i got it
