I have tryed it out and with good results even took it out with 1 stinger a few times

may be the distance may be lag but when i have done it they hit and kill not 1 shot every time but they do kill it in 1 shot

If you are holding the stinger, you can destroy the Assualt drone with one knife hit.

Thank you so much, I surprising had no clue. I always try emptying a clip into it and then trying to knife it a few times. Unfortunately that never works. I might even start carrying a Stinger with me on more of my classes.

I've tried this but for me it's always be a waste of my Stingers. I've done it on multiple occassions and each time both of my Stingers miss

LOL if only would be nice if the choppers could take em out not sure if they can or cant 100% but yha your welcome m8 like a say it was a clan member of mine who found this out and i been meaning to put it up here ages ago but forgot about it anyways no more running from them now hahaha

never knew that recon, thanks! i wish the helicopters tried to take them out too!? i wish the copter could take part of the blind eye perk abilities, so they could take out the sams!

i believe it can be done with a javelin too. not 100% on that as i have never tried it tho. lol

Someone posted this a couple months ago. It works, but the problem is it is much harder to get a good shot off compared with shooting down air support. Even with Blind Eye Pro, the lock on just takes too long and I tend to die before I can get the shot off. With the assault drone, I prefer having maximum mobility and try to move around and empty a clip into it. It doesnt take long to take one out, especially if you have support from your team. I'd compare it to taking out 2 IMSs.

ive known this a long time, you can do the same with juggernauts. althought dont waste your time, 90% of the times, you lock on, shoot and nothing not even an hitmarker. at least for me

Is this true? I definitely want to try it now. I only play HC and when those are called in, I start running the opposite way and continue until I know it is no longer in play. If I can easily take it out with my stinger then that gives me some options.
