It's not like you can just glance up and to the left to see where the bad guys are while you're on the battlefield. You have to use your eyes and ears to determine where the bad guys are. The developers have the statistics from every little part of past games and know what should be tweaked nerfed, buffed but unfortunately the franchise has become too noob freindly so we dont get balence, i have a small hope with treyarch but im not holding my breath.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Personally i dont think its balenced nor do i think its OP and people cant say its a fair trade off and im mainly talking about SMGs &amp;amp; ARs being able to stay off the mini map at the expense of only having to put 1 extra bullet in someone from quite a distance who they can see better because they have no muzzle flash. I have a silencer on nearly every class and no coincedence that most of the MOABs i have seen and earned myself have been with silenced weapons. I think a revamp of the mini map is needed instead of this newb friendly mini map we have now which has caused this obsession with chasing a red dot which is marked to the exact inch on the mini if you fire an unsuppressed weapon. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I Think going back to the old COD radar where it didnt show a map but a compass of where eneimies were if they fired unsupressed weapon would be a better solution because then its not as big of a deal to show up on it because they are only getting a rough location of where you are but right now its a huge deal to show up on radar when you shoot because no doubt someone will be spawning right near you and make a b line to your exact location&amp;#160; as soon as they see that red dot.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:7aa7293f-ac74-49a7-ba77-d419f33095f6] --&gt;</description>

They are OP on already OP guns... but even so even in Hardcore I get a lot more hit markers using a silencer than I do without.&amp;#160; I think the sound dynamics on this game are not too great, but even so I can still hear when a silenced weapon is being fired in my vicinity. I don't think anything needs to change with the mini-map, but would like to see improved directional dynamics when it comes to sound on the MW games. One thing Black Ops/ WaW did well was directional sound. You heard particular noises allowing you to know where footsteps were coming from and bullet sounds to make you aware of where people were firing from. Even when my Turtle Beaches were working, I didn't feel the directional sound in this game was very strong. Its a big mess of clunky footsteps and explosions. I remember on Makin knowing when someone was approaching on a boardwalk, sloshing through a creek, or hitting the gravel on a hillside. I knew on Radiation when someone was walking on the warehouse floor, traversing the catwalks, or running through the parking lot.
