Sony will be here. They make a killing off of playstation. Personally, I don't care about the maps. I got premium for the clan ops. If you don't think about it, you can't tell we are getting screwed.

Lol, Steam couldn't afford it even if they wanted to and Sony are unlikely to put their hands in their pockets for something like that. Sony have stated quite a few times that they are not regularly interested in deals with game publishers for DLC or exclusives unless it comes out of their studios and its been like that since a few years before the PS3 was released, GTA and final fantasy are two prime examples.

The outcome of the end of this contract will either be Microsoft sign again or no one does, Microsoft have made a killing off the back of Activision and I suspect they will be keen to continue this. They will have also reallised that there are many people that only really play COD and these gamers are binning the PS3 for the 360 in drones "I am one of them"

IMHO I cant see a place for Sony in the console market for much longer they seem to have lost their spark and their interest, unless something drastically changes I'd give them 5-10 years before they cease their involvement in next gen console gaming.

I for one will be saying "bye Sony, don't let the door hit your ass on the way out!"

i belive this Microsoft Activision contract ends in late 2012. business is business and there is nothing we can do. perhaps when this contract ends, we will witness a Sony or Steam counter offer for exclusive DLC rights. either Sony steps up the notch and aquire the DLC exclusive rights or kidsbox 360 will continue a month ahead.

also, offtopic i've read some articles about Sony's next console the PS4 "Orbis", is it true?

I can deal, just about, with the fact that I fell for the hype and purchased ELITE.

I can also deal with the whole Xbox thing.

What grips my **** is that the multiplayer is broken and at time totally unplayable.

Now if the DLC was a host lag patch or something usefull then I would really trip at being so far behind, but three maps, which will play laggy full of spawn issues ..... who cares.

I feel worst for PC players who don't even have the option to get ELITE! And even worse for Wii players who get no DLC at all!

Elite is a total FAIL, IMO.

Why haven't they put the only 3 maps PS3 have into all game modes, I don't want to play kill confirmed or domination. I want to play T/D but can't because every lobby I get into to play the ELITE games, people vote for the above.

I have no use for elite, I don't care about the compete side of things, gave up waiting for it to be fixed.

I wish they would go back to the good old fashioned map pack days where I could play every map in the game mode I chose.

So to this end I haven't played the new maps yet, hopefully this will be resolved when the PS3 gets the first content package or whatever its called.

Elite 2.0 is going to have to polar opposite to what I've currently subscribed to or else I imagine a lot of people will bail.

We get the Blackbox map on the 12th no word on the full content to no elite premium members.

There are no videos advertising the new maps on the content calender.

I know they have x number of agreements with Microsoft but we are now considerably behind. I can't believe it was intended to take the piss like this.

I could live with a month behind but now............

By the time we get all the content Xbox will have COD18!!!!!
