I think the ACR is the best gun in the game, really easy to use and deadly at all ranges, the only downside is it chews threw ammo a bit but with extended mags and a silencer it's beastly.

The best LMG for me is the PKP, mainly because I like the iron sights and I find attachments at a premium for LMG's so don't like to waste one on a red dot. I find myself stuck with either kick or grip and not having an optic sight means I can use a silencer or rapid fire. I'd also like to note that the PKP had by far the best range of all the LMG's before the buff.

Range Change distance:

L86: 850

MG36: 900

PKP: 1200

MK46: 750

M60: 700

It lost a little ground on it's peers when they removed damage drop off but it's still my favourite LMG.

M14 combo like m16 in BO. Quite nice

I second that. AK47 is a beast if you can get past the visual recoil. It just needs the Kick proficiency to reduce the bullet spread.

Mk14 is my favorite and what i think is the best weapon.

If you are acurate (and not screwed by lag and compensation) its usually bang! bang! kill!

this is just in my opinion, if we are talking best gun in the game over all, its probably the acr, but i think its a tad op, only because its a laser rifle

I really like the CM901 and FAD. They aren't the best weapon at all but for pretty much all the guns that would get the consensus 'best' gun, there will be a large group of people that label them as OP.

The M60 is a good gun just beacuse you don't like the iron sights does not make it a horrible gun

Rapid fire is broken for the M60 anyways. Might as well strap on kick and a sight. The beat way to reduce kick is to go prone.

I would say L86 is still my favourite LMG. As far as different classes of weapons, it depends on the mood. I don't like to grind weapons that are overused, so I mix them up. I find a lot of weapons really fun to use. The AK-47 is a lot of fun to use. Same with the PM-9.

only way my guns rank except the m4a1 is playing infected .. M4A1 is about the only gun i can use fmgs i only fire with one trigger still lol im no good with sniper ... im dead before i get close enough to anyone with handguns .. even playing infected i use the pistols they give instead of the barret lol im getting better with the throwing knifes although i wouldnt use em in another game mode lol
