This is old news and its 1.8x the original sprint distance not 75%. With Extreme Conditioning its 3.6 x the normal sprint distance.

It works on USAS, MP9 and Skorpion. It does not work on any other gun including the striker.

No, there is no speed increase. Shottys have the same movement speed as SMGs.

Maybe is the animation then, but it really feels like you are running faster....

the olympia on nuketown is some of the most fun ive ever had on a cod game. been playing a lot more blops lately and realized that its a superior game if you can get into a non laggy lobby. everyone always says the olympia is a sh*tty gun because you cant spam it but i like it best out of all the shotties

Shotguns are very good for people who can use them, fair play to them. I have to ADS though, and shotties work way better hipfiring, so theyre just not for me. I loved the olympia on nuketown when I occasionaly partook in the way of the shottie, wasnt often though

Yeah with the shotties its coz you need to get closer to people to kill them, its a built in perk of lighweight if you like. BUT you get a striker with damage, it seems kinda unfair coz the range is longer, or at least similair, to most machine pistols/smgs(without range), and yet the damage is way more on the striker. You go to toe to toe with a striker with damage , anything within say 20yds, and your dead, even with a rapid fire smg.

I've also noticed that when you are using a shotgun (dunno if it works with all, but it does with the striker) you kind of run faster... I feel that way when using it or when seeing someone running with it...

A hidden gem in MW3 and something that not everybody knows, is that when your using the Skorpions, you get an extra 75% distance on your sprint compared to any other gun. This in domination is crucuial in capping the B flag from the start for your team. I havent tried it on every map yet, ive tried about 9, and you can sprint non stop from your spawn to the B flag. It may even mean you dont need to use extreme conditioning as a perk, ive not tried that yet. Either way, its good to know

It has a small clip, half that of the FMG , so I combat this by running specialist and having scav in slot 1 of the package.
