its way to comic-y hence they should regret comparing it to battlefield and any other game thats considered warfare like medal of honor. the old call of dutys were the **** not compared to these mw3 and black ops now a days kids break these games down like candy for what extra points? get laid, esp whoever created map spawn points on mw3 ive never seen so much spawn camping/killing in my damn life

actually a real barret can be fired crouching or "cougard" position but the recoil is enough to knock you unconcious so goodluck but other then that i agree 100% a real barret cant be quick scoped? lmao the guy would kill himself off recoil before he raised the fuckin scope hahaha

Bingo. I'd gladly accept a higher OHK rate from sniper shots in exchange for vastly degraded QS hit rates/kills. Scope in, put the CH on me... torso/head = alwasy dead. Arm/leg... with Barrett.. 50% dead. Others a little less, but definitely in the "red" when you connect.

lmao this guy hit the nail on the head. agreed 100% people cant talk realism in call of duty if it has 3 shot snipers. forget balance equality cold bore and all the other stuff make the game how it is presented to the public. just like mcdonalds you see there food on t.v. it looks delicious but in reality its sloppy proccessed fat fake beef and poultry

yeah right dude my uncle has been to iraq i have seen cellphone vids a sniper rifle doesn't need 3 shots in real life. if call of duty wants to be better then battlefield 3 lmao make a osk sniper its only basing off real life isn't that what there aiming for? why make a game that is completely fake and cal it real? hypocritical out the ass if you ask me. ive had kids online tell me that call of duty mw3 is so real it should be the "number one" warfare game *cough* my ass. if a pp9om1 can kill people in two shots with a silencer but a sniper get asteriks? sign up call of duty to fight our real life battles with there 3 shot snipers lmao

They should. Every gun in the real world has its pros and cons which is why the world doesn't have 1 gun. I think they should make it more realistic keeping those pros and cons in mind. A .50 cal should be a 1 hit kill but you should not be able to quickscope with it. That's the trade off. No fast action but it's going to defeat anyone in a single shot.

Shotguns have limited range and accuracy with buckshot but up close it's one of the most devastating things on this planet. No one should survive a point blank shotgun blast. They certainly would not be able to return fire or knife you. They should make weapons more realistic in this sense and leave it up to the player and the way they play to determine what is best for them. Everyone has access to the same weapons. Everyone gets to choose what they want. Slow and powerful up close. Fast and good range. Slow and all powerful. Pick your poison.

Exactly. Shotguns don't have headshot multipliers. Maybe they thought it would be OP to 1-shot someone in the head every time. I'd like it though.

Yeah ive thought about the outrage of a true to life AA-12 in this game lol.

Ive noticed that there is no headshot multiplier, I constantly shoot headglitchers right in the face and get 2-3 hitmarkers with a USAS. The even flinch 3 times and there screen gets more red with each hit. The only explaination is there is no etra damage from a shotty headshot and I only hit the dude with one pellet on each shot lol.

You can shoot someone in the face with a shotgun and they can just walk away.

No headshot multiplier is homo :/ And really doesn't make sense

a 50 cal rifle should take longer to ADS as it is heavy and monsterous. It should also kick as hard as a 12 or 10 guage shot gun. That is of course if you really wanted to get modern and realistic about it.

Has anyone shot a 50 cal before? It is very punishing. I myself own a Smith and Wesson 500 4.5 inch and kicks much harder than me DE and my 12 guage.

Barret should be a one hit kill no matter where it hits. What ever that 50 cal would hit in terms of the body, that body part would disappear. Blood loss , etc..... Its a one hit kill. There would be no recovery from that.

COD 4, the .50 cal with steady aim pro was almost like a shotgun, but more powerful...Strangley accurate as well.

yeah it should blow your limbs off, but also shouldnt be able to hit you when you are less than a foot or so close to the guy, the rifle itself is bigger...and how bout the scope? it shouldnt be able to get a hit if he barely looked in to it, as far as i recall snipers stay even days waiting for a mark and they have someone to help with the calculations and so on...i agree compleatly with Monty here, not a simulation. if it was we wouldnt have that many 13 years old running like lemings with a .50cal tossing flares everywhere.

WKMMS i agree it is a trade off i have stated in other post this is not a simulation game. If it were the amount of people playing would drop off dramtically. No bullet drop,wind caculations, picking which rounds to use in the Barret. etc.

It's the trade off for being able to run around with that thing. Saw a video of someone shooting it from a standing position on youtube. Took him about about 30 seconds to lift the gun to the correct position, brace himself and aim before he took his shot. Imagine if you had to do that in this game. Not to forget that you are able to spam it from the hip and quickscope with it. More than fair trade off for a few hitmarkers if you ask me.

It should kill in 1 shot, but then you will have those QuickScopers...
