I play solo and have a lot of fun playing. If I have the time, playing for a few hours is not a problem. My feeling is that if you are not having fun with any game, there is no point in playing it. That's why I have a big stack of games that I haven't touched in ages.

Eh with ME3 out, and its MP I have barely played MW3 in the last few weeks.

With a team I can go all night, but playing solo is rage inducing. I don't know if it's specific to mw3 or just because I have been playing COD pretty hardcore since mw2.

Your not alone. My blood preasure has gone up with each update (no really), and I now take a baby aspirine before I play (a little green dont hurt either.. and dont gripe about weed comments, this is an adult game and kids should not play it or be on the forum). It was not always like that (day dreaming about WAW ), but who cares they will turn out crap and people still buy it up (sarcasm). I am with you 100%

The only way me and my friend can really even bother maintaining sanity in this game, is to go with a Riot Shield + RPG x2 Combo. But since I had prestiged again, I lost my RPGs and haven't been able to do it.

The game has potential, I just think it's in the wrong hands. I'd love to see what a better developer could do with this series. One that's willing to give it the proper support it needs. Take it out of the hands of Activision even so that it'll get more than 1.5 years of development and possibly a beta. That would greatly help aswell.

I agree, to all the people that say "why do you play it then?" Well, the strange thing about this game is it's totally addicitve even when you're not enjoying yourself.

I prefer to use interesting classes, but there's no doubt that unless you're rocking an overpowered class then it can be VERY frustarting.

When it starts getting like this then I put on an MP7 SOH,Assassin, dead silence, specialist with stalker, steady aim and scavenger and run around like an mentalist pissing people off with how easy I can get kills.

It's not hard to easily win FFA's and go 40+ kills in team games with this tactic, makes you feel a bit better.

when the bullsh*t metre is running high, I find it very hard to play more than 3 games in a row.

I am a FFA mega fan, but I find myself only being able to tolerate TDM for long periods, cause in FFA there is so much bullsh*t going on, like people who never move out of there hiding spot fo example lol

Just to keep myself sane when playing MW3, I play with a party.

I struggle to play solo these days. Random teammates coupled with MW3's flaws just drives me insane.

At least when I'm communicating with players who do know how to use a controller, it makes the game a bit more relaxing & enjoyable despite the horrid connection.

Some say playing in a party takes no skill blah blah blah BUT I would love to keep my sanity.

Up until about the end of January I could play for 2-3 hours no problem but since the patch that came out about that time I'm lucky if I can handle 5-6 games now.

I only used to get the odd laggy game but they seem to be the norm now.

Last night for example there was a guy on 2 bars on the opposite team his score was 23-3 about halfway through the game it seemed that no one could kill him.

I finally threw in the towel when he lag killed me then I spawned 5 feet in front of him and he killed me again, just to rub salt in the wounds I respawned further away but straight in the line of a sniper who had the spawn in his range I didn't even manage to move before he shot me.

That's when it's time to switch off and play something else.

I wish these problems could be sorted because I do like the game when it seems to work properly.

I try to play for fun... but between teammates that just are beyond stupid (there really isn't a nicer way to put that either), the lag/hit-detection issues that cause half your bullets not to register, terrible spawns, match-making that leaves much to be desired, and the completely inept developers who are incharge of fixing these things... I just can't find anything to enjoy.

9/10 times when I'm playing with friends, the only fun we have is when we're just conversing with eachother, which we're perfectly happy to do just sitting in the lobby without ever selecting a game mode.

I really want to enjoy it... but I'm struggling to find even one positive thing about this game these days.

Not me, i have a good time most times.

I quit games where I lag, or where the enemie team is camping there ass off with akimbo or shotties.

I know that is frowned up on by some on here, but I play this game for fun, I have no fun when the enemie isn't doing anything or I die cause I lag.

But friends do help having more fun, but isnt that with everything?

I'm just curious if it's only me or not. Unless I'm playing with friends who just really want to keep playing, I'm finding it harder and harder to even bother trying to play more than a few games before turning it off just out of frustration with how terrible it is. We all know there's no fix for it, and I'm just genuinely curious if I'm alone in simply putting it away and only doing maybe a match or two a day (except in those instances mentioned above with friends).

Honestly, I want to enjoy it, which is why I still try to convince myself to play it, but I just cannot get myself to play long at all. There's just no enjoyment what so ever to be had from it it seems like.
