Clearly they were an after thought that didn't really require much thought at all....

Personally I don't care...I'm just going to reset myself again as soon as I reach the highest level. Makes the game more entertaining.

Yup. Saw a few players rocking the new prestige emblems last night. (Although they are very plain and unimaginative.)

Lol. The prestiges were released in the same update as the new map. Don't know what the earlier guys were smoking. Whatever it was, it must have been powerful.

What? No, Maybe you're not only seeing post prestige 10 players.

The title update a couple of days ago has already increased the prestige level. I have seen in the lobby some 11th prestige players. So, the new prestige levels have definitely been applied. Playing Elite Team Deathmatch, it is quite common to see 11th prestige players.

Okay. Clan ops are live for about 2 or 3 days now (I don't know when they came out i just saw it). I talked to an Assistant and asked when are they coming out. He said they are just rolling out wait a week or two. Then I told him about the rumors about coming out during the drop pack. Then he said, "I can not discuss this." I think it's going to come out during PS3's first drop so it's fair because you guys got your 3rd map before we even got our first. If it's not Tuesday then maybe the week after. This is just a prediction.

TU9 and the DLC were thought to be tied together... but the TU is a game update and applies to anyone who plays on-line.

On the Call of duty Elite Twitter feed yesterday they said "

New ELITE functionality is almost here. Tomorrow, your most anticipated feature goes fully operational. Stay tuned." That would imply that they would at least be bringing in Clan Ops today. They didn't say anything about the prestiges but this is a direct hint that Clan Ops would be up and guess what, it isn't. Granted it could be up later but I don't see why they didn't have it up in time for the launch of the second map drop. Here is a link to the Twitter account.

How did they screw us over? Robert Bowling posted on Twitter that he had no clue when the consoles were getting the new ranks. And today we were promised the new map nothing more.

personally more excited for the new prestiges and clan ops, along with what i would assume would be the entire community. New map looks cool, hopefully its not a knock off of highrise (although i did enjoy that map)

I'll keep my fingers crossed at work to come home to some form of update and function allowing for more prestiging... and loss of all the gold guns i've finally accumulated though. But then again the next CoD doesn't come out til november...

New Prestiges don't come out until they release a title update or hotfix for the game for the prestiges to appear.

Give it a day or two, you'll get to 15th Prestige in no time

The funny thing is if you go on Elite and use the Prestige calculator it has the 5 new prestiges there to calculate how long it will take you to get them.

Maybe there will be an update later today when the new Elite functionality is operational?

i mearly said that they were more likely to come out AT THE SAME TIME as the 4 DLC map pac for non elitew premium members. not that you would have to buy them.
