The amount of people playing is creeping up towards the level of MW3.

I've got BO on PS3 and XBOX and I decided to give it another go as I'm getting very bored with MW3, on the PS3 on Monday night there was 320,000 on BO, tonight at 8pm UK time there was 360,000 playing MW3 on XBOX.

The funniest thing was the amount of people in the Elite playlist 4200 only, I guess the new maps aren't great.

BO still lags but as has been pointed out there's less WTF moments.

It's nice to see Black Ops finally getting some love; Last year everyone was talking so much crap.

People HAVE been saying it's a cycle and that when Black Ops 2 comes out, everyone will be saying how good MW3 was. Is that true? I wasn't really into the forums back then to see what the community was saying.

Speaking of Trolling, I remember in Black Ops, how I would enter the Gun Game wager matches, and simply knife only (even on high roller). Not only do I get angry reactions, but I posted those reactions on my YouTube. Good times.

On the smaller maps on all the games yes there is similar problems. Honestly I would say the spawn system is the same on all the games but there are just smaller/tighter maps on mw3. But since im aware of the situation its not a big deal. Think about it, when u get killed, if the other team is spread out all over the map, your gonna spawn close to an enemy especially on a smaller map (example rust on mw2). The only thing they can do is make maps bigger.

Looking at MW3, it is easy to see why they were talking to EA.

Just checked black ops and there were ~104,000 people in playlists.

That's plenty to find a game. When I go back and play I get into games easily.

Im sorry man... You cant tell me you honestly believe that the spawns are the same across the board. It's very obvious to 99 % of the community that the spawn system in MW3 is the worst of possibly any FPS out there. They didnt fix anything with their patch, just like they didnt fix anything when they tried nerfing the FMG9 Akimbo's...

Agreed. I much rather Treyarch had their next Call of Duty be called something differnt than "Black Ops 2".

Yeah I played BOps the other day too and it made me realize how good all the Modern Warfares are. The main the 3arc brings to the table is Zombies, one of the best game modes ever. If you ask me they should focus totally on that. This may sound like im trying to knock 3arc but im really not. I seriously think they should start puttin bad a$$ zombie games out every year. Hell I think they could even use the same maps but with different guns. Imagine if we could use every CoD gun ever in Zombies. Awsomeness.

Treyarch had it right with WAW. Black Ops was a giant step back....except the guns looked super cool.

I like black ops lag because I can adjust to it very easily. It was fairly consistent. I'm either on 3 bars or 4 bars and unless it's a really unstable host I'm there the whole game.

In MW3 I'll be jumping back and forth from 3 and 4 bars a lot of the time.

Dude there are like 270,000 online during the day time.. So it say. But if you look closely with your eyes it says around 60,000 people are playing the multiplayer. The rest are zombies, combat T, and singleplayer. In mw2 there are like 40,0000 people in multiplayer, im not sure exactly I haven't checked when i'm on. The fact is that Mw2 had more players after the release of Black ops, then black ops has after the release of Mw3. That's the truth.
