Your Right about UAV Spamming being less common, but I don't use Assassin... I use Assassin Pro, I like to have Radar even if CUAV or EMP is in use, I can use all my equipment and attachments, so to answer your question, I use it and have always used it, I use Fast Draw/Hardline at first but once I can get Assassin I use it and get Pro, then I'm all good to slaughter my way with full Map and Equipment usage.

plus assasin pro gives immunity to counter uav and emp.

1.3 is pretty bad given the better players (and I'm not even talking heavy campers) can maintain a 2.0 - 3.0 ratio.

Also good luck ever flanking an enemy team without staying off the radar or not being heard. It's quite funny to be behind the entire enemy team but get turned on because one of them called in a UAV and you're the only red dot behind them to shoot at.

Ha the reason why I haven't replied to any posts was because I have more important things to do than to sit in front of a computer all day. I'm a senior in high school, I actually have friends to go do things with, and I have music to play and write when i'm not at school. The only time I play this game is when my dad wants to play. And to answer some questions, no I do not have a poor KDR. It's about 1.372, which is pretty decent if you ask me. No, I am not butthurt, because I don't play this game enough anymore to actually care. And finally, I do not see ANY UAV spamming that is as bad as it was back when this game was released. I honestly do not know what game modes you guys are playing either. So I guess the feeling is mutual, and we agree to disagree.

There's nothing sad about using what the game offers. Reason I use it, hardline not interested! quickdraw no real need! overkill ehh can pick up weapons as I go. Blastshield don't play objective only TDM. So that leave the one perk that removes the annoyances of UAV's, counter UAVS, turrets, and EMP's. I don't know about you but I find UAV's have become difficult to shoot down. Is it great? Depends if you use it to its purpose. But the perk doesn't make anyone great! I'm not sure what game mode you play but in TDM and KC UAV's are running every other kill it seems. Co-dependent isn't the best term to use for a perk with in a video game.

I don't get ppl like the op at all. I read all the time how ppl cry about what perk others use, what play style others use, and what weapon is op. they need to stop it and just play the damn game.

You see, i have done 3 posts on this web-site and all 3 were positive, i had one reply on the first, it was a negative reply, the other 2 , no replys. But if i said something like this, negative, i would get people talking. My posts were about people adding me, i play this game alone everyday, and i'm bored, so i thought coming here would be the best solution, but i was wrong, not one person on this website is looking to add other MW3 players, i got to prestige 8 ( nearly 9) all on my own. Yes near the end now. I'm in a clan, but i want another clan, preferably a British clan, because the one i'm in, the people and leader are American and different time zones make it hard for me to be online when they are + he was playing skyrim last night, i invited him and still he carried on with Skyrim. I MEAN F**CKKKKK. I want a UK clan dedicated to MW3. If you want to add me, then good, but i really couldn't give a _____ anymore. PSN IS nazerr ( double r at the end)

Sad but true - I do better (even on HC) when I'm using assassin, because of all the UAV spam. Do I use assassin because of this? NO, absolutely not! I instead carry around a stinger and take them out while running QC Pro or HL Pro and do just fine. It's not beast mode, but I'm not having "bad" games or going mad negative.

TL;DR: Carry something to take out UAV's and roll with it. If people need Assassin, then let'em have it. Because it seems to be like you're upset that they're NOT using it and making the game harder for you.

I use assassin 99% of the time depending on my set up, I don't see a reason not too. Why wouldnt i use something that will provide more help than negatives for me. Plus Ass Pro combats the effect of EMP what always gets spammed towards the end of games by Support *******.

The main reason why I use Assassin is because blast shield is basicly useless a grenade leaves your screen red and claymores kill you anyways.... if it was like flat jacket from BO I would be mainly using that.

I believe the assault uav should be a personal uav and the support one should move up to 6 indeed. Less use for assassin all game long that way, more reasons to pick hardline, qdraw and blast shield longer at least. This said one of the devs said that assassin is not even the most used second tier perk atm. I myself never notice / look what perks my enemy was using as I don't care, I however only use the radar as an indication. People should first look at their surroundings and use the radar when it's showing something and even then expect there to be more ppl there.

I'll actually give some answers to the OP's questions. Before I start, I'll admit that I use assassin on nearly every class, and that it is indeed a bit overpowered.

1. UAV spam is still very prevalent. You just got lucky in your games.

2. Assassin does MUCH more than just counter UAVs. It also counters Counter-UAVs, heartbeat sensors, portable radars, AND EMPs. Ever been against an organized team that all run Advanced UAV/Stealth Bomber/EMP? Once that first EMP hits you're EMP locked for the rest of the game. Try running the latter 2/3rds of the game with no sight on your gun if you're not using irons, and no minimap.

3. No other tier 2 perk offers more counters or benefits than Assassin does. Blast shield counters the already weak explosive lethals/equipment. Quickdraw is nice but as I normally start hipfiring then ADS not nearly as useful. Hardline is again nice, but if I can get 4 kills to start my pointstreak chain, I can get 5. Overkill isn't terrible, but I can pick up a weapon off the ground if I want a second primary and the akimbo machine pistols kind of negate needing one.

Don't want assassin used so much? Move support UAV to six kills. Move the heartbeat sensor immunity to dead silence. Move the portable radar immunity to Sit Rep. Make it so your dot doesn't appear on the minimap ONLY when you're moving. You sit still, you show up on radar. Move the EMP up to 21 kills, or make each death while running support set you back one in your pointstreak. Give a 30 second cooldown timer after your teams EMP has ran out before another can be used by your team. I think those changes would go a lot towards reducing the Assassin overuse.

I don't care what perk people run, it's in the game so use it. I don't care what guns people use, I don't care what kill streaks people use. I care about things like lag, lag compensation, team mates not going for objectives, glitches, host migrations

i.e. THINGS THAT ACTUALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

all the other stuff is just a matter of preferences and I don't care to discuss peoples preferences, because they are just that!!

think about the 2nd perks there are no good perks in the perk 2 slot what u gonna use hardline? sry im not a scrub i can get the kill streak im going for, or what about overkill? sry but with secondary's like akimbo fmg's u dont really need much els, and blast shield is useless because of the nurffed noob tubes i guess blast shield pro is legit tho but the point im trying to make is assassin really is the best 2nd perk, i use assassin for the most part for one reason only pu$$y a$$ campers sitting on there motion sensor's with a heart beat sensor i will not feed them kills not even just one from the first time i walk by and i bet if u dont use assassin u get realllllyyyyy pissed off getting raped by those players
