This was a wonderful thread OP.

I didn't bother buying Elite becasue I'm psychic. I knew it would be complete crap. Full refund 3 months after purchase.... I don't see why everyone isn't doing this.... You remeber that boycott thread/// I think those guys should all jump on this too, this would be a great start. Don't give them anymore cash and get a refund for this garbage. I like it.

I think it feels great to be rid of Elite and have a sealed copy of MW3 for sale. I'm getting 80+% of my money back on a game I haven't played for two months. What some of you need to realize is that there are people like me who feel they made a mistake purchasing this game and the Elite service. Thanks to Activision for complacency and rushing products that we're able to get refunds three months after purchase.

100 dollars, LMAO!!! You fan boys will tell yourself anything, so delusional.

Im gonna buy the 12 MP Maps for $45.00(If I like them), I could care less about the other 8 pieces of content, or the amount of time I gotta wait. So you paid an extra 5 bucks for what? A broken down BattleLog rip off, HD theater that simply does not exist, and a chance to BETA TEST the dlc maps. Not worth it.

how on earth did you work that out/

lets see

3 dlc map packs $15 a pop thats $45 assuming people actually buy them to start with if the first two maps are anything to go buy and the state of the game i wont be buying them anyways

if they release a dlc of the spec ops and sp mission crap thats another $15 (personaly wouldnt buy)

so at most its $60

No one is crying we are refunding elite because we don't want it (DLC included). After 4 previous cods that had DLC I bought I don't think I'm going to be missing out of much. No one will be crying except all the kiddies like you who

from a 360 player who got a refund after the dlc hit so has the new maps i can honestly say nope dont care others get the other maps first now... the maps shipped with so many out of map and rock exploits I prefer waiting for the elite members to beta test them so when we get them a month or two later they have already been patched and work.

learnt my lesson with mw dlcs... elite is buying a pig in a poke when it comes to dlc

in thinking of gettin a refund on mine i bought wanting to play tournaments i win them and dont get my prizes? i go by all the rules and i have to wait a month for AN EMAIL just to notifiy that ive won which i obviously have i came 5th and yes i sent an email to the prize people like 15 days ago now havnt heard from them either

It was quite a hassle. I had to tell them that Microsoft and Sony are refunding the purchase price of Elite for unhappy customers. They didn't want to do it since it had been 3 months. But the girl that originally told me they couldn't do it was also the salesperson that convinced me to buy the Hardened Edition by telling me that Elite would bypass the MS/ATVI agreement. Once I told her she had lied to me, and we never had a definitive answer on the issue she came around to the return.

I really hope others are able to get refunds. Something needs to be done about the complete lack of respect ATVI has for its customers.

I'm pretty much fed up with elite myself. I don't see myself getting a refund, I got it through Gamestop. I really don't see why clan ops are still not working a full 3 months after release.

It's $50, so I'm not going to lose any sleep over it, but it is a bit annoying at this point. They gave out a free month since it was sh!t at launch, but IMO, they should give out as many free months as it takes to get clan ops/full service up. The way I see it, I paid full price for a partial product. Fvck me once, your fault, fvck me twice, my fault. It won't happen again.

I dont really care about all the stupid extras. I always say im not going to buy the maps, but I end up doing it anyway because all my friends get them. I just got tired of putting my credit card info in the ps store everytime a map pack came out. I figured 3 map packs, $15 bucks a piece = $45. I paid $40 for Elite. Is what it is. People getting so upset and excited. Relax
