THIS IS DEFINATELY A RIP OFF. MAPS THAT WE GET EARLY AND CANT PLAY THE WAY WE WANT THEM. THEY SHOULD OF DID IT LIKE BLACK OPS WHERE YOU COULD PLAY THE NEW MAPS IN THE GAME VARIANT YOU WANTED ETC HARD CORE TEAM DEATH MATCH OR CORE ETC

HOW CAN IT BE CLAN OPS WITH NO ISSUING CHALLENGES TO OTHER CLANS.

euro xbl will give a refund of msp points if you bought elite through xbl,

under uk law a service has to make good on what it promises and advertises elite hasnt and didnt, once 30 days have passed from the time you paid if they havent made good..legally you can ask for a full refund.

I got mine AFTER the first dlc drop

Oh my gosh let us cry some more. You guys could have waited a month or so to see how everything worked but nope. You guys wanted to PRE-ORDER a subscription? Really, Pre-order a subscription! "Well I wanted founder" some of you are probably angrily yelling at me from your computer seat failing to realize I can't hear you. What more did you get with Founder. OH! I know 500xp and a pretty picture. The other bunch of you are probably saying "Well I want to be the best at CoD" or " I already am the best". To who I say get a life, get a girl and get a real job shooting real towel heads if you wanna be a hero.

were are gettign 20 new multiplayer maps i see that its worth the £35 a year is canny good as far as i see it

I think that 50€ (or 67$) for a few maps and game modes nobody will play is too much. And I have to wait 5 weeks longer than the Xbox 360 owners for getting my few extra maps.

That was my last Call of Duty.

I'll play Battlefield....

Stop your crying. You had the chance to join the site for free and try it. Unfortunately you didn't remember there are two responsibilities to every purchase. Remember consumer responsibility!!! Research a product or service before you buy it. Maybe this will be a good lesson to you!!

yeah... i bought elite as a marketplace item so XBL had some responsibility in my case..

nice to see a company like Amazon do that... lets face it... Activision may be a juggernaught in the gaming world, but they are chump change when it comes to a company like MS or Amazon... this game is such a small sale to them (i think the markup on games is next to nothing for retailers as well), its not worth a dissatisfied customer..

but its like i said... that may be the one thing that brings change.... because lets face it, sales have nothing to do with you buying the game.... its the orders these companies place.... Amazon probably ordered this game in the millions (ok maybe not) and if their confidance starts shaking, that initial order will drop... its just how it goes in any business..

or if some big shot at MS gets wind of complaints and refunds being issued... best believe hes making some phone calls... and they wont be nice ones... lol.. another fact of business

refund has to come from the retailer/site you bought it from actvi will not refund you and will tell you to go to where you bought it

i have already downloaded to first 2 DLC would this still matter?

Also thanks for the help its been a great help. i paid on my credid card so not sure if phoning XBL will do anything

im not sure exactly how the relationship works between publishers and MS.... but one can only assume that if XBL support has to give enough refunds, activision will be ripping someones head off over at IW/SH...

it really is hard to tell where the blame lays.... did activision rush it and cheap out? or did the studio royally screw up making it? either way.... having to return sales is never ignored by managment...

as promised follow up post..

phoned xbl this morning got full refund for elite and my 4000 mspoints were refunded while i was still on the phone to them.

I researched it in the beta phase, and I also took into account what services I was promised. Then I bought it and spent the last 3 months researching the service. As a seasoned researcher for the Call of Duty Elite service, I can promise you sir, that it is not what I paid for. And by saying that, I find it very reasonable that I should be refunded my money.

Damn Call of Duty fanboys....
