Yeah, Im havinf the same problem too. I changed my gamertag three times and its still my original gamertag I had before. Im also thinking about changing my gamertag again, I hope if I change it will change on elite.

Hello I signed up on the elite page under the basic GT i got on xbox now i changed it but it hasn't changed on the page to what my new gamertag is any way to change this?

It will not affect your clan or clan leadership if you relink you account.

All you have to do is unlink your account to elite than link it again ,that's how I did it

I changed my gamertag few days ago, the app on xbox shows it has changed but when I go to elite on website it still shows my old gamertag. I also have friend who changed 2 months ago and it shows her old gamertag also still.

Edit: Nevermind just found how in a tweet what do.

Call of Duty Elite is linked to your Xbox Live account. If you ever change your gamertag, the services and subscriptions that are associated with your account will still be there. The only thing that will change is your gamertag. Everything else stays the same.

I'm pretty sure it will have no effect. It will effect the clans and groups possibly, I'm not sure, but I'm almost positive they send a code to the email you use for CoD Elite for the maps. So I wouldn't worry too much, but I'm not sure if that's right myself, I want to ask or someone to confirm that I'm right. Looks like we'll both have to wait for an answer.

Hello I would like to know if changing your gamertag after buying elite affect anything because when I check in elite it still has my old gamertag and I would like to know if I would still get the map packs?
