I have had the same COD friends since WaW. They have all bought the new CODs and almost always played them until the new one came out. With MW3 there is only 1 or 2 people who still play it out of 20+ people and even they say that it is the worst COD yet. A lot of those friends played COD more than most people work at a full time job yet they dropped this one after only a few weeks.

I will be shocked if DLC is anywhere near previous years sales this time around.

I find it amusing how you clowns seem to think that the only opinion exists is your own. News flash other people are allowed to have opinions which vary from your own. Not everybody feels the same way about the game as you do. I've never once laid blame on any one side of this argument. But feel free to live in your little fantasy land where everybody on earth is supposed to think the same way you do about things and anybody who opposes that opinion is wrong/crazy/stupid.

Tell that to these guys.

Oh, and these.

Don't forget them either.

You can hold your own opinion. I'll show why I think this game still performs poorly, though. I also want to see where Schofield said that. I would love to see that in reality, pl0x.

*Love how the Critic scores is dramatically higher than the User.

Although I agree i have to point out one thing to you and the rest of infinity wards fan club.Treyarch has been in COD since call of duty 2,they are not the 'new' or 'inferior' development team they're both the same.And if you look at the facts Treyarch is actually better since the new Infinity ward barely has control over COD anymore.

Other than that I agree with your post very much and I must say that I will participate in the 'strike' even thouh it may not do much.

In an effort to make this thread easy to navigate and work on once I'm done reading these long forum rules please I'm starting a small petition. Soth needs someone to talk to but can't seem to find a place anywhere to achieve that. Please do not reply to his posts on this particular thread. No matter what just show the other cheek. I've narrowed down his intentions to a few things and should you do this it will be easy to know who he is and what he is doing here.

On the plus side, should he continue to badger everyone he will be helping up the numbers here. Annoying but helpful nonetheless.

Soth why don't you start your own thread and see how that goes. Since this is the crybaby thread, why not go start your own. That way the big boys can all come contribute. Roughly two people sided with you on this post and yet you call everyone else's ideas dumb or delusional. 3 vs about 15. What do your statistics tell you about your chances on here. Now let's see, by my deduction you are in the minority. That means you will keep banging heads with every other poster here. All this will be obviously to no avail seeing as how you are not really saying anything reall related to the original post. Just arguing with just about everyone else.

i cherry picked people? i didnt go around asking people... we have conversations in game... nobody has ever praised this game... even people doing well and not hating it all concede the many flaws and admit its the worst of the series...

Not only is that not entirely but the forums for BO and MW2 were also mostly a big fat whinefest, just like here. If you remember things differently then those rose tinted glasses must be working wonderfully for you.

Biased how? This bit doesn't even make sense and just looks like mindless ranting about something or another.

As far as you 'asking people in game' somebody already pointed out the flaw in your strategy there, and it's that you haven't talked to even 1/100th of the number of people you need to if you want a fair assessment. I'm also not the only person in this thread to dispute yours (and others) claims about this game. It's interesting how you only see and believe what you want to and just disregard everything else. Like I said... blisssssful.

Smackmeister, everything in that article was an opinion from a fanboy. Most of the article has been disproved. Case in point... it mentions most game reviews will be negative in day 1 or 2 of release. Well, its like day 90 (apprx) and people are still keeping the score at 3.2 adding reviews daily. It really takes credibility away from the article. And, critical reviews mean nothing in the gaming industry today. Most have a complete disconnect from what true gaming is and the rest get "paid off". User reviews are the single most important type of reviews not only in gaming but in any consumer product.

Perry (if I may call you that.) intelligent conversation is what we are trying to do. Some words may come out right but there is variety in argument. Even if we feel offended we can give others a chance at clarification. There are no random polls of COD users asking if they like or dislike the game nor will it ever happen so there really is no argument or conversation on polling. You have to use the information that IS available to form your conclusion.

Let me summarize his argument. If there are 3 people in a room and 1 in those 3 is a female and the other two males, then 1/3 of people in that room are females. If there are 100 people in a room and 33(.333 etc) disagree on something then a third of that population disagrees. In my opinion he meant to look in that direction. Your argument is no wrong either. Just that you are both looking from two different perspectives. The importance of number vs significance of it. Polls are never misleading, what is misleading is the how the polling information is represented.

Well unlike others that frequent these forums I am not looking for a war of words online as I do not see any benefit to myself or others from the activity. It is too bad intelligent conversation is frowned upon, but I guess that's the way it is.
