If you do a google search for iw5mp_ceg.exe, all it comes up with is crack sites for copies of MW3, and key code generators, So you have yourself a cracked copy of the game.

Indeed this error is a almost un solved as well.A friend of my had the same.There is a lot of option to fix this(audio drivers, soem mic plug in ) and so on (btw they all is an the steam forum as well or just google. it) .In fact nether of this work for my friend.Then the last and the final solution was to use a system restor point as well in the back date when he play the game ith out issue.

In your case if this appear from day 1 i dont have any idea how to fix.In deed the searching in google error will be a good start on it.

I dont think so but i did get it from a friends friend. If i do have a cracked version do i need to get my money back or can i get the correct file to play online?

I have bought Mw3 for my PC and when i try to click on multiplayer i get an error screen that says i dont have the "iw5mp_ceg.exe". I have tried to reinstall the game but i still get the error screen.
