I basically lurked most of the time, I was only really active in posting during all the hacking.

I'll still come here time to time if it stays open, Had some great times playing on PS3 with some other members here.

Hi! Haha well to be fair, a bunch of people said they planned on staying and I think some will. But if this online community platform of Beachhead awesome is as awesome and big as they're saying it's going to be, then there will be a mass exodus no doubt.

It's mainly that ^^^ regarding new forums. It has been done before but in the case of a new game where there is apparently going to be other forums for it, we're not so inclined to just create new forums here.

Re. opening up OT for any MW3 thread - OT would cease to be OT and would become a MW3 sub. That's not what this sub is for. There are plenty of people here who have mainly posted in OT for a long time and I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate us changing the character of the sub so markedly.

Anyway, all I personally would do is wait until MW3's official forums are up for a while, so this place doesn't attract more people than the official forum.

After all, this forum doesn't need suggestions if you want it to be heard by the developer.

I do want it to be more than just that one thread. It's not a lot of fun if you make a good post for discussion and then someone posts his average ideas and your post never gets noticed. Also that one thread grows a lot and has a lot of different discussions going through each other, it's also a mess.

it's not that discussions aren't allowed, it's that this forum in particular(off-topic) would become cluttered with only mw3 threads if it were permitted. if you want to talk mw3, go to the suggestions thread. i don't see what the big deal is about it.

black ops is made by another developer...

MW3 is made by IW.. there name is on the box.. so discussing a IW product in an IW forum seems logical, does it not? atleast until the "official" space becomes known.. once that space opens, then threads can be merged to that space..

i can understand not discussing other games not developed by them... and im well aware of another party involved.. seeing that IWs name is on the product, i see no reason why discussions cant not be had about MW3... no matter what the thread title is, or the location of said discussions.. off-topic seems appropriate

It'd be great if we could post MW3 threads in the off topic if we don't get a separate section for it, maybe not for everything but at least for some decent stand-alone topics.

open up the section already, if your told to shut it down then do so.. or atleast let us post in the OFF TOPIC section about a game that is developed by the very companys forum we are on? official or not doesnt matter to me, we need a place to discuss, and what better place then this site?

This is still an official forum, not a fan forum and it's not ours. As for MW3 discussion in specific I consider that something in between a Modern Warfare title and Black Ops. Black Ops has its own forum and therefor there doesn't need to be a separate thread for everything here.
