After seeing the IGN stream...

... this package still looks like better players will see a lot more of an advantage to using it than the greenie.

I don't see this as an issue rather an unintended result of adding it.

the thignis that even if the goo for the highpoint streaks thy might only be able to use once or twice in a game so they wont really be healpingn their team very much, personanly i would go with 5 balistic vests, 8 sam turret (get those pesty helicopters out of the way) , and then 18 protected air drop, i probably wont be running the last one very often becaue i enjoy helping my team win/counter against my enemy

I see where you're coming from. But is it actually possible to have something that benefits the weaker gamer that stronger players can't benefit from?

I completely see your point, but don't feel it will be an issue. Assault will almost certainly appeal more to KD fanatics.

I have a 2+ KD & WL in the all the COD games I think. I'm an objective player. So this will appeal to me as I like to help the team. I also like blowing the crap out of people while I'm doing it.

It's nice to use and it takes a little bit of stress out of the game. I'm not to worried that we'll end up with p/s spam because you have to cycle through your entire Support Package before you can earn your low streak again.

I think most of the posts here are completely wrong. The Support killstreak Package is mostly only going to be used by noobs, gauranteed. The Strike Package is a wet dream come true for guys that run up high kill counts. You get an extra perk after two kills, another after four kills, a third after six kills ... that's SIX PERKS after only six kills??? You guys need to think about that. You're talking about easily getting 18 kill streaks ... 8 kills is a joke! At 8 you get ALL 15 perks!

Unlimited ammo & explosives via scavenger, faster reload than probably half the opposing force, faster ADS than probably 2/3 of the opposing team, faster movement, longer sprint, greater resistance to damage, blind to UAV and equipment, delayed claymore/betty, etc, etc ... and you only need 8 kills for all that stuff.

If you get six guys that are just slightly above average running Specialist ... the other team can have all six guys running Support and they'll probably back out within the first two minutes.

No, stronger players are going to be running Specialist.

yah agreed, i can see some newbies just getting absolutely owned with support.. People say theres not much in there that can get you kills, HOWEVER blackbirds alone if they're alwayz up, you're going to kill faster with the gun anyway, despite those open maps where chopper slays, kill feeds are a lot faster with the gun, and a gun can always hit you inside...If deaths dont set you back then make blackbird 20killstreak, otherwise a full team will have all their BBIRDs within minutes...

"osprey inbound" not something you wanna hear 5 times in a row when you're 2-26 early in the game, hoping that its not blackbirds or AC130's. Dashboarding is going to be crazy in mw3 because of support!

My only question is will it reset after you've gotten all of the killstreaks. If not then you can always just change classes.That way it'll start all over again.

A good player is going to rack up points towards the streaks either way, I can see a few of the Streak rewards getting out of hand, when you think of a good team vs randoms, the randoms get few kills and even fewer caps, so they still wont get many point streaks, and it will be so easy for good players to get up to the 18 points, and even if they die once or twice it wont matter, so the good players are going to get more out of this than the bad players.

I think it's going to be harder for peeps to get them... not impossible... just harder.

Apparently they do reset on death, only if you don't get a kill or a point during that life. So you need to get at least one point per life. This is what I have heard, not sure if it is true.

I see what you're saying, but the only killstreaks in that list that a high KD player would want to use are the juggernaught and the osprey gunner. The juggernaught, use teamwork, sourround him and shoot at him, he will die quickly. The osprey gunner, the easiest thing in the world, just pull out your launcher and take it out. High KD players will not abuse this strike package as much as you think. A few will, but most of them will use the assault strike package.

I don't feel it will be abused and I honestly don't really think it can be "abused." I consider myself a veteran player and in Black Ops I play mainly "Support" streaks now in objective based games to help my team win. I'll probably do the same on MW3. On those rare occassions I play some TDM I'll use the Assault package with the Predator to start the chain just like in MW2.

From the players who went to COD XP, it would be nice to know how often some of these point streaks you pointed out were called in per match. (Juggernault, Stealth Bomber etc)

As an objective player, I'm all for the support package. It balances out slayers and supportive team players. I'd rather be killed by a player who managed to attain a Stealth Bomber over a player who kills me with an AC-130.

It's IW way of making sure that air support won't dominate the match compared to MW2.

Ballistic Vests...how much extra health do you get?

it probably will be abused....as i quite easily go over 50 kills in a objective game mode not even camping...and with the killstreak rollover and start again...ill just keep getting more kills

It's not all passive or pure support...

5 Kills – Ballistic Duffel – Drop Juggernaught perk for the whole team, not jugg suit

10 Kills – Remote [Missile] UAV – Target enemies with missiles

12 Kills – Remote Turret – Sentry Gun that you can control

12 Kills – Stealth Bomber

18 Kills – Juggernaught Recon Armour – Care Package Drop Armour

18 Kills – Escort Airdrop – Same as the Osprey Gunner but you dont control the gunner or chopper and Drops 5 care packages, one will be hacked.

It is not going to be hard to get 10-18 kills/pts.

... and give Jugg to 3-4 good players at a time and this package will be deadly in the hands of vets and dominate the greenies... simples.
