Should we really give people a hard time that bump old topics? IN BLOPS we gave them hell for not searching and creating a topic that has already been discussed. These guys are following the rules right?

exactly what i thought barret is by far the best sniper and its the one i use and i use a ccp so no aim assist i though it should have been last to unlock or near the last one to unlock!

And the sniper rifles have been nerfed allready they get hit markers constantly after the patch with the silencers. The msr is the last one because it has the best accuracy even with bad aim.

The only snipers i hate are the .50 cals and semi auto you can turn ur wii mote into aimbot with auto assits but i use pro controller so my is all accuracy and skill.

What I don't get is why the .50 Cal is unlocked by default. Honestly, shouldn't a rifle that's semi-automatic with a large magazine and very high damage by the LAST gun unlocked? Is the MSR really that good (I don't think it is)?

Yeah have to agree the only thing other then QS that is annoying is getting sprayed down with a Acog.

Good point. Since acog is unlocked after about 5 kills everyone uses it. Make it take longer and more people would use the snipers the right way.

They should make it so the acog is unlocked way later too. reg scopes are rare these days

The Dragunov currently IS garbage--when compared to the other sniper rifles. I main this gun in this game, I have +900 kills and almost 400 headshots at the moment at my current prestige, tand I've only seen people use this gun a handful of times--its the least usable primary from what I've seen from the +4 days(+100 hours) worth of my playtime online.. It's a fun gun to use, but it requires extra setup time to be used effectively, and you'd be at a severe disadvantage against veteran sniper rifles who use the high powered sniper rifles.

Fact is:It has neither the power of the high powered sniper rifles, or the recoil of the RSASS (also Dragunov is outclassed by RSASS in reload time, mag size, and swap times. >_>). No niche whatsoever, to use it over other sniper rifles--because its weak as hell.

Only usable way to use the gun, is to go prone and use it as a battle rifle, which will never be on par with the MK14 at the current state anyway.. But the RSASS and the Barret also do it better, and don't even need to go prone to be effective.

I don't see any reason why it SHOULDN'T be as powerful as its COD4/BO versions, as I already stated--OSOK to the chest w/out silencer, and head and neck to the silencer (in BO).

Im agreeing with you at the dragunov..

but some weapons are just stronger then others. But the dragunov is not garbage in this game... this is real garbage with like little beasts in it

When did I ever say that I wanted the Dragunov to be better than the Barret?

At the very least--I want the Dragunov to be as powerful as it was in BO--which is OSOK to the chest w/out silencer, and to the head and neck w/ silencer.

And if possible--to not have the high powered sniper rifles a OSOK to the chest w/ a silencer attachment, <--Dragunov is much more likely to get patched than this..

But with my proposal or not, the Dragunov will never be better than the Barret, as the Barret is more powerful than the Dragunov.
