I use TI in every game mode including KC and the best way to use it is sit on top, sorry to say.

First of all there are 3 ways to screw someone over who is sitting on a tactiacal:

1. Keep shooting after you kill them, it only takes a few bullets to destroy a TI.

2. Use some sort of explosive so it kills them and blows up the TI.

3. Get close to them, before killing. Then once they die you can quickly pick up there dogtag and destroy there TI or wait 2 seconds for them to spawn and get 2 tags off them.

I personally dont just run out and drop a TI and wait to die, i drop a TI then lay down while using assassin. Which makes you pretty much invisable to anybody not exspecting you to be there. I lay down get a few kills and eventually die, and try to respawn before someone can grab my tags. And even when i go 10 and 30 my team usually wins.

People are complaining because when boosters are on their team they are loosing?

I guess if they arnt even shooting at people i can understand.

But when i die 30 times 15 of those i pick back up myself and teammates usualy save a few for you as well. I usually despite being quite negative am the driving force for my team.

If you place your TI right you can usually not only respawn and save your dogtag but also get a quick revenge on the person who just killed you and collect his dogtag.

Using TI to collect your own dogtag is indeed quite "tactical" The only reason people ***** and moan about it is because you get 250 points each time you pick up your own tags which can equate to a hefty chunk pretty fast.

Removing TI from the game isnt the awnser by any means, reducing the point bonus to 100 would shut everyone up and is really the simpelest awnser.

If i were to be reset and temporarily banned for using my favorite equipment in my favorite gametype in a creative and "tactical" way ide be swaping mw3 for bf3 with a quickness.

Ti is great when used in the hands of a skilled player. I used it all the time in blops inside the array tower and always went 3-0 in ghat level. The OP was about somebody indiscriminately letting themselves get killed, in order to respawn and collect their own dog tags. Noone is saying that collecting your own dog tags is boosting. The problem here is that players are NOT killing their opponents. They are NOT contributing to the team goal, which is to collect 65 gold dog tags.

Jdak10 has already posted:

From 402 twitter

In Kill Confirmed, if you die on purpose to pick up your dog tag, is that "boosting"?

Yes. Any form of killing yourself on purpose to gain score illegitimately is a form of boosting.

I don't want some guy on my team, rocking the Tac Insert next to the bulldozer in Mission, so the sniper up the top of the map can assist him with some cheap XP, while everyone else is completing the objective - COLLECT THE GOLDEN DOG TAGS!

If you use your Tac Insert in such a way as to prevent the opponent from collecting your dog tags, and you still contribute to the generating and collection of golden tags, then awesome, that's smart, logical gameplay, and I hope I get you on my team next time.

If you have no other goal than to die and collect your own dog tags, then you are boosting. As stated in the above twitter.

The OP clearly stated that the person went 4-18 or 4-19(cannot remember), so in fact he was not just standing there dieing, he was in fact playing the game with a certain stategy in mind. I absolutely suck at this game and have gone 4-18 before, does that mean I'm boosting? It is a stategy to gain more points and if you do it with a team of six it works out great.

It destroyes their overall k/d and they get at best 2000 more xp than the actual best players. Also those other players probrally got most of that 2k extra XP from killstreaks anyways so the "boosters" are doing no better then the top players.

You think hey will level that fast from this? People level faster through a combination of challenges and doing well in game for in game XP.

Now the problem could be if they do it whle having double XP. Cause then instead of getting 5k they will be getting 10k. But then again their K/D is being destroyed. By the time they get half way to prestige 10 their K/D will be .50 at best. Most likely less.

They do this for what? To get to prestige 10 faster? Ok so their be a level 80 prestige 10 with a K/D .50 and most likely a W/L of 5%.

Ive seen countless people doing this and I just kill them and then kill them again and then take their tag. Th outcome is the same they just get some extra points iftheir good at it.
