When I started playing MW3 I had 40Mbps internet and 30ms ping. I moved and went to a 3Mbps internet and 65ms ping. Both put me on the bad side of "lag compensation". So, even if your internet isn't quick it can still screw you over. Unless of course you need triple digit ping to get the good side of it...

In response to the original question MW2 multiplayer beats both Black Ops and MW3. CoD 4 has a bit of a lack in variety of perks / weapons / killstreaks, and Black Ops' hit detection was even sketchier than MW3's!

I'm not a noob tuber, by the way - I've even made the F2000 work. (F stands for Fail BTW - possibly the worst gun in MW2)

The reason you like MW3 more is prob because your internet connectionis sub-par and the aweful, broken lag comp system in MW3 gives you an advantage making you feel like a good player. If you had 40Mbps/3Mbps - 30ms ping you wouldn't even have a 1.0 K/D ratio. The game works fine for some, but not for others. FACT!

I really have to disagree with you here. I think MW3 is more fun, I didn't like the whole credit system in black ops where you could basically get every attatchment and every camo (-Gold) just by credits. And the guns were pretty boring in black ops imo.

Yea Black ops was way better and no kills from killstreak rewards should ever count towards killstreaks i dont see how they didnt get that from the last one. Too many dark spots on every map so you can pretty much camp anywhere and just go prone. Too much smoke and particles everywhere which definitely promotes camping to the fullest. They only thing they did right in this game is having a greater customization of classes and killstreaks. And wtf is with this javelin, anyone go in a game and just here javelins going off everywhere.

mw3 is a far better cod because pretty much everyone on black ops feeds on zombies like its the bestest thing in the world

I like them both but Blops seemed to be a bit more taylored to the person finding one of four spots on the map that they couldnt be touuched in and racking up massive killstreaks.Bullets , grenades, tubes, rockets didnt matter they couldnt die. Blop seems a bit bias to that. MW3 dosnt seem to allow for that with the more random spawns and faster pace game. But all the guns seem to be very simular except for the ammount of recoil. I think it boils down to styles of play.

I like Black Ops better.

MW2 had OMA noobtube

MW3 has akimbo MPs and the Type 95. ( Type 95 is debateable)

The worst thing in Blops was the Famas which isnt all that bad.

I like Black Ops maps better. It has a totally different feel. I like the guns better. Perks as well. Ballistic Knife and Tomahawk ftw. Making your own emblems. I rarely even get agitated on BLOPs compared to MW3. But thats my personal opinion. Also i dont think i had any lag problems tbh. Im doing alright.

BLOPS is better cause its not USA biased and the guns was far more balanced.

haha me and you are pretty opposite in the MP department.

At least modern generation I got BO, WaW and MW on top, and mw2 and 3 on the bottom.

I got 15th 50 on black ops. It sucked. I played it because I'm a dedicated COD fan and I was tired of MW2 noobtubes. Either way I still liked MW2 better. Much better maps, killstreaks and gameplay.

Oh look, it's THIS thread again.

Oh well, might as well make a comment. I prefer the Modern Warfare titles much to any Treyarch titles. I must agree though, Call of Duty Black Ops had the best story of any of the Call of Duty games, the way they linked World at War in with it was just the icing on the cake. However, I do not like to set any prejudices on any of the Call of Duty games, because I know it will both get me sworn at, insulted, or booed off stage. So I'll just take the easy way out and say they're all good.

Well I still don't know whether or not I prefer Black Ops... I'm gonna need more time of MW3 gameplay to figure that out. One thing I sure miss from Black Ops is the currency system and the level of customization although MW3 offers more customization than MW2 like more camos, attachments and red dot sights.

Both MPs have their advantages:

Black Ops:

Better weapon audio IMO [including the hitmarker sound]

Ability to have lethal nades, tact nades, and equipment

Map design [except for lack of color in everymap except Nuketown and Hazard]

Character creation

MW3:

Faster, smoother, less clunky

Strike Packages

Honestly as far as music goes, I can't decide which MP had better music, sure the volume level in MW3 is kinda lame, I'm only talking about which songs are more enjoyable.
