Most powerful? I would have to say type 95.. it's a one shot kill every time. so powerful. so overpowered if i might add..

but favorite gun wise? i would have to say is that it's probably the acr, mp7 silenced, or one of the snipers, even though i suck at using them.

but favorite guns of all time have to be mp5 and g36c from cod4, so smooth and powerful. actually every gun from cod4 is a candidate. and the PTRS from WAW, which is probably the best sniper to ever enter the call of duty series. or maybe even the mp40 from waw as well.

In my honest opinion, G36C is the best gun in the game.
You just have to know how to burst fire it and you are golden.

There is no best gun it depends all on skill/play style. Are you a camper, rusher, quickscoper, tanker(riot sheilders) & also, trigger finger speed makes a big difference if its slow that will opt out all semi auto guns. some guns do have more accuracy than others but youll do best with whatever your comfortable with. like for me i use pm-9 because i like fast pace killing.

Cannot believe that no one has mentioned the MP7 (if they have it was only a short word or two cos can't see it) it's like a flippin assault rifle of an smg! I also use pp90M1 and ACR a lot but just looked at elite, and my K/d whilst using the MP7 is masssively higher than the others. It is just a plain and simple, straight up, genuine, legit BEAST of a gun. Doesn't matter what attachments you use with it, it is hands down the best gun on the game and performs well over ALL ranges, which you can't say about most weapons.

PP90m1 has shorth enough mags to use Rapid Fire id rather use extended mags rather than Thermal scope

There is no "best gun" in MW3. Yes, there are some that perform better than others, but in the right hands, they all work. ARs work better on some maps than other guns, SMGs are best on some maps, LMGs ... all of them have their niche. SGs are best used with Overkill, IMO, but they still work great - in the right situation.

you can use MP7 It is not the best gun in the game, but it is very powerfull in 1vs1 use JPM and Target Finder I use this weapon a lot.

You can use SMD sniper with zoom and Balistic

People will laugh at me, but at times the CM901 suits me.

Lately I have been using the PP90M1 this seems a smooth gun!

I agree with Moofda. The ACR and MP7 should take top honors. That's not to say that there aren't great guns...I've used the PP90 more than any of 'em, but overall it's the ACR/MP7. I have also been impressed with the MP9 for a secondary! If we are talking best secondary, I like it best. Honestly I haven't used the FMG's much since they were so used and abused, plus it's ROF seems slow. My 2 cents.

The best weapon in the game is a tie for me. The MP7 and ACR.

The MP7 features faster movement because of being an SMG, extremely low recoil, very good at extreme ranges, better or equal to most AR's in that aspect. The recoil is so low, that rapid fire is still very controllable for long ranges, and gives you a boost up close making it hard to beat.

The ACR features extremely low recoil, even without kick. With a silencer, it's range is barely effected and deals out a high amount of very controllable damage. A silencer with extended mags will certainly almost always beat any other weapon from medium to long range engagements while being able to take out multiple enemies with ease.

A close 3rd for me would be the MP9, as it's a laser beam and just about as good as the MP7.

ACR has no recoil without kick, how easy do you want to have it? CM901 has better damage and range, if you good enough to control it it's a great AR.

CM901 has more recoil and lower long range damage than ACR.

ACR with kick has virtually NO recoil.
