I'm replying to this old thread in hopes of helping out the next person experiencing this problem. As I just resolved it for myself. - Make sure to verify the Integrity of the Game Cache for Campaign, Zombies and Multiplayer for the game. I had checked multiplayer several times over and it wasn't working, which might be the case here as well.

I have uninstalled then reinstalled and it still dosnt work, wtf is wrong

I try to launch Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, but it just stays at "Preparing to Launch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3..."

I had launched the game before, infact I finished the story mode, so IDK why its not working any more
