I would have to agree with you on this HC CTF was def the game to play, Why it's the only game not to be HC yet amazes me, I just dont get it and thats why I go back to Black Ops. It cant be that hard to have HC CTF

On the back of the game case it states, "System requirements and features are subject to change without notice."

So even if you had voiced your opinion on the matter, Treyarch could change it no matter what you might had said.

It's not to get HQ back as a standalone - Vahn already said he's not going to do that - it's to get these Bungie-esque wannabee developers to at least let us know these things are being discussed in-game beyond the generic "go to callofduty.com/forums to see what we're working on" scroll message. If they want to connect with the community, like Bungie, then they need to give us a more interest-inspiring reason to do so. Bungie had the Weekly Update and the Stats Tracker, among other draws. Here they have that BS missions to rank-up thing that does nothing in the game to make it worth participating in.

I don't expect them to give us a file share, or Forge, or custom name plate images. But I do expect that if IW and 3ARC want to actually connect with the community that they adopt some of Bungie's methods, like in-game message screens and maybe a visible update blog, as well as not being douchebags with their changes and response posts, without expecting me to pay extra for the perk.

Can YOU support that?

Might I suggest you join MHCGM...

About damn time someone gave me an invite...

Give Hardcore a temporary addition of all of the game modes that Core has, just to see if there COULD be enough interest in all of those HC game modes. Honestly, what is the WORST that could happen??

Do you think Vahn's response was in ANY WAY relevant to anything I've posted? Hardly. His response was directed to the people complaining about the CTF changes specifically. All of my comments are about the process.

Well I guess maybe it is time I spoke my mind, and these are MY opinions and nothing to do with MHCGM.

I'm glad the changes were made, and I'm glad the changes are staying. Watching groups of players cry, spout off factually incorrect statements and figures, and name out specific people shows that the maturity level is rather low. It's all rather sad.

TSD - your posts bring nothing to the discussion other than directing negativity towards other players or groups of players, and you have shown this repeatedly. You dress it up all nice, and act like the good man, when in fact you are nothing more than a well spoken troll doing nothing but misdirecting issues and inciting conflict between 1 group and another. If I was Macc or Cable, I'd be doing my level best to get you brought to heel through every available channel. As I said previously - bring something to the table or make space for somebody who wishes to contribute. Apart from 1 or 2 angry kids, the players who initially came here to complain have mellowed enough to enter into civil adult conversation, and are actually opening up to 'us and them' working together. Then along comes you to stir up the hornets nest again. GROW UP.

As for everyone else still complaining - appoint 'Smokin' as your official spokesman, that's how you get what you want

They do not want all, infact I was asked not to join because of my style of posting. mud-slinger.. perhaps but that is how they are being seen at the moment by those that feel the changes were unjust. And when they spoke out about such feelings those same players that claim they were wanting to do better for them attacked them at times. That is never a good tactic and they should have know that. Instead of attacking, just do not reply if the other person refuses to even see the possible view of what was trying to be conveyed to them. My mud-slinging is no more then a simple representation on how many feel at this moment.

The numbers are not nearly as postiive as some claim. for yes the numbers seem to be higher but that is because they are all in the moshpits instead of being spread out as before. As far as I have seen there is not really many more now playing hc then there was before. Core still out weighs it by so far and that is what game developers will choose to support the most every time.

And in truth not all hardcore game players want more, they just wanted what they had how they had and didnt care about the other game modes if they were there or not. Not everyone wanted dom in hardcore as much as it was made to seem. So they are not really speaking for all but just a small minority within the allready small minority that is the hardcore community.

But either way the changes do not really affect me, for I can play the game regardless of what happens. or what lists it has or does not; for it is just a game to me, nothing more nothing less.

My point is that they need to take greater care in how they approach and attempt these changes in the future or they will ailenate even more players to the point that they will become the outcast group, not repsected or wanted in the game just as QS has become. They too can fall off their pedestal on how they see themself and how they think others should see themself too. But that is neither here nor there and only time will tell the answer to this controversial issue.

Better communication is the key here, something that all parties involved on all sides need to work on. Or this will not turn out well at all in the end.

The fact that Treyarch listens to any of the poeple you speak of is absolute rubbish. You're a group of smug elitists catering to your own preferences. And you ruined the game. Good job...and this Vahn guy deserves a boot to the rear for listening to anyone other than a group of beta testers outside of this forum. There is too much personal interest involved.

Unfortunately TSD this is where you are wrong.

All HC players DO agree - we ALL want MORE playlists. NOBODY 'wanted' these moshpits, it was the best that could be gained in Black Ops that catered to everyones needs with the structure that was already in place and was unchangeable. We wanted more games added, but didn't want to lose what we already had. Moshpits were the only solution, that way nothing was removed as you can still play CTF and HQ, but more was added. Everyone compromised and the figures are showing the change has been mostly accepted, there has been no downturn in figures regardless of what people may say on here. The figures are there for all to see.

Nobody speaks on behalf of MHCGM because it is a group of players. It doesn't have a leader or a spokesman because everyone who follows MHCGM is capable of submitting their own thoughts and opinions without needing an 'official' to do it for us. We don't all agree, as we would all like slightly different things, but again we compromise and come to rough idea of what we think would work best for the game overall. But we don't make the changes, so we can't be to blame for them all. The CTF timer is a perfect example - we had mud thrown at us because the timer got changed, it must be our fault right? No, it was a mistake on the part of Treyarch, and one that was rectified because MHCGM brought it to the attention of Vahn. See the difference? We can table peoples ideas, but we can't make the changes.

This is why we constantly ask for more input from Hardcore gamers. Despite all the accusations that have gone on here, we ask those same mud-slingers to come and join our discussions and be involved. We don't discriminate and we don't tell people they are wrong, we invite the opinion of EVERY hardcore gamer. All we ask is that you be open to compromise and discussion/debate. Treyarch and Vahn have shown that the players have a voice when it is used in a coordinated way. We have the coordination, but do people on here want to join in or just complain?
