As Macc said, many of us have played HC-DOM, we know how good it is, and we know how popular it would be by the number of people who have seen the vids asking us if they can join in for a few games.

We have also started a thread on this issue, which Vahn has replied in. #MoreHardcoreGameModes is very much on the Treyarch map. This would benefit the community as a whole far more than a noobtown playlist would, for the reasons I have already stated.

It was stated when it was brought out that it was only ever to be a temp list and only ever used for special occasions such as dlc releases.. it was never meant to ever be a perm list.

this topic is a dead horse that can be left to rot in peace.. it has been brough up hundreds if not thousands of times and it will never happen..

noobtown 24/7 is a boosters paradise and that is why people want it back.. because how fast the matches go.. so you get more per hour.. so you get more exp per hour.. that is realy the only reason people want it back so much.. and 3arc is not dumb about that fact either.

Sorry but how do YOU know it wont be a perma game mode. Why can't it be. It was it's only gamemode. If you didn't want to play it, you didn't have too.

Why not add it just for the people who want it and for all you negative Nancys out there they just remove Nuketown from the rest of the playlists. Would be the best solution would to create Nuketown 24/7 and then remove the map from all other playlists. That way people won't cry about the type of people that love to play the map and won't complain about getting raped when the map does come up. Win/Win situation.

Sooooo.. you're saying that by shunning the idea of a Nuketown 24/7 map, you're getting more game modes in HC? And honestly, what more HC game modes are you looking for? There is already headquarters, FFA, TDM, Search, and CTF. Anything else would be ridiculous to play. Could you imagine domination in hardcore? It's hard enough to deal with kill farmers in core dom let alone a mode without killcams or mini maps. Maybe you'd like HC demo? That way spawn trapping would be that much easier? Either way, them simply adding a playlist that is already created is much easier then adding new game modes to HC. If you really want new game modes, start more threads, or create 1 super long thread. Saying no to a nuketown playlist isn't going to magically result in the "hardcore" community getting more game modes... just sayin'...

I think it would be dope if they just released it as seperate game where all you did is play nuketown and then charged you $60 for it! So i can lol at all the idiots who would probably buy it just to play that garbage map! Then they could hit you wit the $20 map pack that has firing range 24/7! I personaly bought the game to play all the maps, SMH at you morons who just want to play the easiest maps to get spawn kills on over and over again!

I have to disagree with you here. Every time Nuketown comes up, it always gets a huge majority of the votes according to my eyes and experience. Adding this playlist is not catering to a tiny percentage of the playerbase. In fact, it would be catering to the majority of the playerbase going by how many votes it gets. I like playing on Nuketown, but I'm undecided if I want a 24/7 playlist simply because of the sheer volume of kills/xp one can get opposed to other maps. Nuketown 24/7 would make for some fast prestiges. I love that they added it back into the domination rotation though!

Something I did forget to add - how many people do you think would be playing noobtown 24/7 2 weeks after it was introduced? Once people have played that map 100 times in 3 days, how many of those people will still be there in 2 weeks?

Look at the MLG 'competitive' playlist as a classic example, it's been up less than a month and how many players are in that playlist at any one time? 10,000 if your really lucky, out of over 300,000 players online.

Compare that to the 80,000+ that are CONSTANTLY in the HC games, a figure that would only grow with the addition of more hardcore game modes. Do you really think noobtown 24/7 would EVER get 80,000 people playing at the same time? I don't think so.

@ Spacecow,whoever gave you the results that Nuketown 24/7 was wanted by a majority is wrong,might be out of date by about 6-7 months.
Please,if your going to say 'We want this' or 'We want that' then make sure at least 51% actually 'want' it.

I love how one person feels they have enough representation and power to speak for "WE".

WE do not want it. We would much rather have more Hardcore modes and have that be the only increase in playlist fragmentation rather than Puketown 24/7.

I agree. The only thing I miss about PC FPS is the ability to get on a 24/7 server and play the same map as much as you like.
