Eff it. Just disconnect all audio output from your system and every time you fire your gun yell "BANG".
Don't forgot to make stomping sounds as you run around the map.

Anyone who doesn't understand the variance in audio quality between low-end and high-end equipment is ignorant and/or deaf.

All turtle beach's need to work on a PS3 is a USB to stereo cable. Turtle Beach try's to scam you by selling you one for $30. I have seen them on ebay for $1 - $3.

I had this same dilema last night, finding one for the PS3. A friend suggested me the PX21 headset that I linked to in my other post and after review, it still does the main things that the turtle beach does (Plays game sounds through headset along with other peoples voices from mics - Plus, if the game gets louder, it automatically balances out the mic volume too so you won't have to turn up the mic volume to hear). That's the main reason im getting it. Oh, and it works with the 360, PS3, and PC.

I was looking to get a pair of turtle beaches but ultimately $200 is too much to fork out for a headset when I can get a console for less ($150). That's why I have a pair of these:

They shipped earlier this morning . Me, I've always been a regular headset user (Logitech USB headsets, official Sony Playstation headset), so having something like the PX21 will deffinately be a change for the best, and once I get it, I probably won't settle for anything less if I need to get a new one. It should arrive either Monday or Teusday! Just in time for some Black Ops Zombies and Campaign.

This thread screams NOOB! Anybody with Turtle Beach X41's is a total noob as that setup is garbage. The wireless is garbage and the product is garbage. You could do better with a pair of $30.00 head phones.

The Astro mix amp is a nice product. Any of these GAMER head phones suck and you could do a million times better for the same money.

but its only through 2 speakers so its simulated 5.1 surround. i mean. its your headset, go with whatever you would like.....but all three headsets only have two speakers in them.

ignore this statement because its all false. game sound plays through both ears as well as chat through both on ALL turtle beach astro and tritton headsets
