I'm having the same issue, but only under one of my profiles, the rest can connect peachy keen. The thing is, I cant delete that profile to remake it BECAUSE YOU CAN"T CHANGE PROFILES YOU ARN"T ONLINE AND LOGGED INTO WITH.

Stupid.

To be honest, I'll describe my problem here just because during many hours searching I haven't been able to find any solution by myself; I neither speak english nor write it, making an effort I understand the language, so I've been forced to ask for help to a friend of mine:

i should not do this but i feel cheated by Treyarch/Activision
solution when you cant connect to that crappy online service is:

private/cracked servers - btw you still get your rank - so when you finnaly be able to log in to online service (can take long time - and ofc its random) your rank will be updatet

its sad that i buy game and have to play on pirate servers...

and you dont must install any cracks - just log in from console /connect IP

im on pc was running fine last night today i can connect to the server room go to join a server and get kicked out by pb saying it cant connect to the service within less than a minute of connecting to the server

yeah, i am xbox 360 and it says that i cannot even sign into xbox live... i was playing fine friday..

O please, go and hug a tree or something M8, and i payed Â£45, which is a lot of money.

COD4 was released without issue!!!!

Fact is these guys knew how big this title would be on release. The amount of crap that has come with this release it completely unacceptable. We are not talking about a small gaming company, or a small game studio here. Activision is one of the biggest players in the video game arena, this should not be happening with there name on the box.

The gaming industry is now worth billions of $, and that is all that these guys care about now. Way to little time is spent on R&D. It's rush to get a game out so that it can be sold at the end of the year coin fest.

There is so much said about piracy and how it hurts the gaming companies, and it does, but may be it is time they stopped pissing around and started bring out quality, well tested software. Also stop with the BS false advertising, a bonus XP week, 2 weeks into release, for example, is useless.

Another thing, there are cheaters all over the place already. Using classic wall hacks and aim bots. The one guy, who was cheating, was already at rank 65. Some good testing was done on the PunkBuster front i see.

Stop sticking up for there companies, they take your money and make it as hard as they can for you when things go wrong.

We the consumer need to give these companies the finger until they get there act together. If you don't they will continue to take your money and laugh at you.

STOP TAKING MY MONEY AND AND SELLING ME CRAP OR GIVING ME CRAP SERVICE.

PS: I bought the collectors ed, and wish i never did. I have also played every COD since COD 1, except for 3, the one for the xbox (only).

At last, the slow S@#ts actually managed to fix the problem.. No F@#%ing notifications, nothing, Very disappointed with Tryarch. Maybe next time, if there is a problem, the very 1st thing they should do... IS TELL THE CUSTOMERS WHAT THE BLOODY HELL IS GOING ON. The Best place to do that Tryarch.... IS ON HERE!

As least you have fixed the problem, but i start to wonder for how long.

One your are in England and currency is different over here.

Two COD:4 NEVER had this issue and actually did work on release day/week.

Yeah this is happening to me as well, I could play online just yesterday, but today when I push refresh, only about 5 servers pop up and I get disconnected whenever I try to join. My firewall isn't blocking it, I forwarded ports, I even uninstalled anything that had to do with CoD. Nothing.
