It shouldn't be needed; this zombie approach(HAVE THE MOST PEOPLE PLAYING ALL THE TIME EVER YEAAAAAAAAAAAA) should go away. They /should/ have a cap to the amount of people in a clan at any given time. Looking at elite and these 100+ people clans is stupid.

Mass people joining for sake of just getting bonuses(double exp for instance) is a stupid 'clan system'. When your clan is 10 PLUS times the size of what you can fit into the game, someone/somewhere is designing stuff incorrectly.

They should be benefiting people for trying to group together and play; not just en-mass invite every player in a lobby to their clan.

As for event issues; you can sign up - usually a week or two in advance; you're in bigger trouble if you 'leader' can't be arsed to click his left mouse button 3 times in a week or two lol.

"Use the search button" is a good reply - if the search button is actually helpful.

It's the same as all the other games. They upped the amount of points(and how many give points) BUT they also increased the amount of points to level. It's all relative(Vahn already said time to prestige is about the same as Bops).

If you're trying to do nothing but spam through prestiges theres a few options depending on playstyle and 'skill level'.

If you're good at S&D in public games, that will be the hands down best way. With a team not so much, as you're limited greatly by the amount of xp you'll gain(due to limited amount of kills/objectives per round).

If you've got a decent group of friends; HQ will be the way to go. Kill streaks are effective, most weapons are effective, and you're whole team will get the benefits of capturing the HQ.

If you've got a few friends and a you're a good slayer(and have good map control) domination is the way to go. If you're slayer heavy; grab a/c and b - keep the other team trapped in the third point. If you're not so slayer-ish just keep flipping points with 1-2 friends.

Gerneral things that help; tremendously:

-Carry a launcher; shooting down air support gives a LOT of credit for such minmal effort.

-Use a UAV/low streak. Higher streaks will give more kills but come less frequently and can't be effective sometimes. UAV's will give assist points and help you take objectives/get kills. Plus calling it in gives flat XP.

Ever since the CoD4 release it seems that anytime new info is put out there is a single mega post kept up by the community that lists out all the confirmed weapons, perks, KS's etc etc.

For some reason it appears we don't have one for black ops 2 - or am I just missing it? Anyone have any links to a mega post or a website with all the information broken down?

Looking on both the elite website and the elite application I see 'My Clan' - but when clicking it it says 'Find a clan by using the search function' - but searching yields nothing; lol. Is this part of the system STILL not working? Is there any update on when it will?

I meant more of /why/ would confirming an email give double XP? Is it just for signing up for elite? That's part of my confusion as I haven't seen any promotions for it.

So I recall for the past week or so many of us were getting a 'confirm your email to obtain double xp' in the elite window. After the put up full elite I noticed I am no longer seeing this message. Was this just an incorrect error message or what? Just kinda confused :/

Just curious is there anyone experienced with(or better yet - a manager) for Walmart midnight releases? I've called the 3 local Walmarts to me and transfered to the electronics department and specifically asked for either the manager; or the person 'in charge' for the midnight release and I was told each time neither of those people were there. So I asked whomever was on the phone how their midnight releases are setup(and what kind of stock of reg/hard editions they have) and get the same response "I have no idea you'll have to call back later when our manager is here - around 11:30".

It'll take me about 20 mins just to drive to any of the Walmarts and I'm sure the person I 'need' to talk to will be busy enough as it is to not have a chance to get on the phone. So my question is - does anyone know how Walmart handles their midnight releases; is it pre-purchase and line up to get handed copies? Is it just line up then pick your game and pay? Etc etc.

I've gotten nowhere with my Walmarts other then 'yup so well give it out at 12:01' so any help would be greatly appreciated

That's weird considering they turned the 'listen' servers off for almost 2 full hours last year which meant 0 people could connect. You must be super special bro.

Actually there is something called proficiencies in real life; we ALL have them. Quickscoping? While not a real life application of those weapons; it's entirely possible(check youtube) as for radar; we've had that for AGES bro. Do some research.

When your sitting in the multiplayer lobby the little ticker bar that tells you whose on and the such says 'All leaderboards and stats will be wiped at 23:59 prior to release".
