Totally agree with you there,

but these threads pop up every few days - implying that somehow French players cause all the problems in COD games.

Then we get the less intelligent members of the community jumping on the bandwagon with their comments about French cuisine, hygiene etc.

The French tend to have better Internet connections than the UK :-

Also where on the system requirements does it state that you have to speak English?

Maybe if this is annoying you so much you should take the time to learn French?

My point wasn't about the spelling mistakes,

it was about the thinly veiled xenophobia in the original post.

I think your stats in COD only mean anything if :-

- you were awarded a promotion at work because of your K/D

- members of the opposite sex were suddenly attracted to you because of your W/L

- street vendors have recently been showing you respect, giving you their best oranges, and addressing you as 'Godfather'

otherwise, I wouldn't worry too much about it...

Once, when I was 13 years old I watched an epsiode of the A-Team.

I played a game where I threw peanuts at the TV screen, trying to hit 'Faceman' on the nose,

I managed about 82 direct hits - I'm not saying that's a world record but unless someone proves otherwise I'll assume that it is

surely you can have judged by now that it's quite unpopular to use meaningless in-game stats to 'prove' a point about your gaming skill -

using the term 'world record' is a recipe for receiving recusant retorts

Another accusation that sometimes comes up is that people get an advantage by 'hijacking a McDonalds wireless connection'

I've never used McD's wifi but surely they would block gaming traffic, torrents etc.

Is there anyone who lives close enough to a McDonalds to test this out and finally disprove it?
