If they cared they would just fix it and be done, there is absolutely no good reason to not address this issue.

Modern Warfare 3 "Lan Support"

I really don't understand why this isn't the number one question on everyone's mind in the forums. Why isn't there LAN support?

From what I can tell private matches on xbox live have a great set up. Everythings unlocked right away and you can edit just about every aspect of a match. So why is it so difficult to have the same system for LAN's?

When I google MW3 lan support I get countless articles saying "MW3 Lan support confirmed!" and half of them talk about how MW3 will be better than Battlefield 3 because Battlefield won't have any LAN. So tell me, was it all just a stunt? or do you really assume that the current LAN system was truly an attempt at providing "LAN support".

So we all buy the game, some im sure bought it just to LAN with their friends, and quickly realize that the "LAN support" is non-existant. The public speaks out and is quickly hushed by head developers saying "oh, we'll fix that in the first patch, don't worry". I believe the xbox360 MW3 just had its 5th patch and guess what, no one is even talking about it anymore.

Has something happened between Major League Gaming and Activision? or do the developers just not care anymore? The whole thing stinks and the logic behind it is lacking. Someone explain to me why something that seems like it could be fixed so easily has yet to be fixed. Thanks.

-Frenzy

gt: Frenzy sG

"Additional Fine-Tuning"

Really? Thats the title for the audio issue? Fine-tuning? I assure your nothing needs to be "fine-tuned" it needs to be re-worked. "Sound whoring" is not a valid argument, if u dont want to be heard PUT ON NINJA, or CROUCH WALK thats why you have those two beautiful little things other than crouching to reduce gun recoil. but thats besides the point. THIS is my point:

# 11/17 (full title update)
# · Improved matchmaking to find matches significantly faster
# · Improved matchmaking to ensure that players are more effectively matched to games with the best networking conditions
# · Improved host selection to ensure that the best host is always selected in the pre-game lobby
# · Improved party system to ensure that parties don’t get broken apart
# · Disable ability to join Private Match, Combat Training and Theater lobbies when searching for Player Match games
# · Server-side and game-side changes to decrease the amount of failed Film uploads
# · Weekly and Monthly leaderboards will now track all kills, deaths and assists properly (All Time leaderboards were not affected by this)
# · Prevention of Combat Training stats getting crossed with Player Match stats under rare conditions
# · Prevention of temporary loss of functionality when a button was being held down at the point of a disconnect
# · Additional fine-tuning of audio levels and ranges for footsteps and gunfire
# · Additional fine-tuning of audio levels for bomb plants/defuses
# · Additional online security enhancements

What in this little list here looks wrong?? Well rather than arguing my opinion on certain things, I will just present absolute fact:

Whatever "fine-tuning" has been done on the bomb defuses is completely unnoticeable...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JwPWDhN8O0&feature=player_embedded

I think you guys are trying to be unlike MW2 so badly, that your judgment has become clouded... If you really do listen to your community, you will fix the sound issues...
