could not agree more, host for me and some of my friends is a joke. it was the same in mw3, and lag ops.

as soon as one of us calls out about the lag, quit and surprise surprise. host migration.

so now we have started having nights on mw2 and mw. they both have there faults but when you shoot them. bang they are dead.

i just came off mw i think it said 1600 playing and 124 playing tdm lol. but god it was fun there were people from the usa, england, norway, and 1 russian but it played way better than any lag ops 2 game i have been in. and its the first time in a long time i didnt hear people moaning, no one left. it was just fun as it should be.

i did notice in mw you have to be spot on with your shots. its not like lag ops 2. you can miss by a few feet and get a kill. or you can get it dead on target and get nothing.

lag ops 2 is just not a game i or most of my friends enjoy any more. the lag and hit detection is horrible. who ever worked on the internet part of the game should have there heads put up there own arses so they can smell the **** we have been hosting.

or instead of quitting when host buy a connection for your internet lead from the xbox. that way you will never be host as i found out last week.

it makes it so your nat is not open. which means no host. now all we need is everyone to do that . bingo. the connector costs about 2 english pounds i only bought it because i moved my xbox and my lead was not long enough. hope it works for you all to.

i think they should be nerfed, i started sniping last week in black ops 2 and it is to easy to get a kill. i only tried it to see why there were so many snipers in most games.

i am on 1.16 k/d on tdm, sniping, not great but considering i dont like using them. if they were hard to use i would be o. something. because i am not a good player.

you can miss by a good margin and still get an instant kill. were as any other gun in the game you can hit them point blank and not get the kill. the hit box seams to be much bigger with a sniper rifle. if thats true then that is unfair on the rest.

maybe i am wrong, but i do know i miss the target many times and still get the kill. i do find once you kill a sniper with there own gun theý almost always come back for revenge which makes it even more fun. if they make it were you do have to hit the target chest and upwards to get a one shot kill then i would be happy about that. but i do think snipers get a bad rep because of the cheap scopers . i think if that was taken from the game completely then the snipers would not get such a bad rep. but thats just my opinion.

can any one tell me how they are picking the host?

just come out of some games 10 people from england 1 from denmark and 1 from usa. now 1 in england one has 50/50

and the others had in the 20s.

the one in denmark had 30/5 and the one in usa had 8/1 and you guessed it it always picked the one from the usa as hoast so we were all 2 and 3 bars and he had the full green and for some strange reason was in god mode.

because i know there is a lot who pull host, who cant buy a kill.

i dont see how making the one from the usa as host is the right choice. 11 people lagging and one in god mode.

and the reason why i know what everyone has is because we often all play together.

the game when running ok is good for me but the one big problem is the lag comp, since lag ops they have not got it right for me and i find it amazing its still not right, its about time these companies were forced to have a beta for every system they make a game for.and i dont mean a in house beta, i mean one were the internet is tested like they did for waw

i can see a lot of people are unhappy with the game, i think there are a few problems such as the lag comp and the getting kicked from games.

but on the whole i find the game fun to play. for the first time ever in a cod there is not one map i dont like.

i like every map. not found a gun i like yet but i am sure i will as i level up. and its the same for the people on my friends list they all love the game.

if i could change one thing in the game, the sniper rifles are way to easy, if i can use them then they are to easy. i picked one up and i was getting kills without hitting people.

as soon as i went back to my normal gun if i didnt get right on the mark, i didnt get a kill. not sure why the hit box seems to be so much bigger for the sniper rifles.

knifing is a big improvement for me unless lag comp kicks in.and you get the knifed from a guy who is not facing you

but on the whole i love the game so far and when the lag comp is bad i just quit and join another, you can see after the first death if its really bad.

could not agree more the spawns are terrible. the game when runs well is great the best out the lot i think it will be if they fix the spawns and the bull **** lag comp.

since this morning it cant find games or when it does it is in a game were all my normal classes are gone and all score streaks have changed.

and yes we are searching for public matches, it does not matter if its me searching, or one of my mates .

it cant save information if you change your emblem either.

anyone else suffering this ?

went on lag ops last night , first time for a while. and the hit detection is by far the worst i have ever come across.

the lag comp is crap. and it insists like mw3 that i should be host so it can f--k me up the arse people shooting me when they are not facing me that kind of crap.

i have even changed my internet from 30/30 to the lowest i can get 30/3 and it still makes me host.

this company is no better than iw when it comes to lag comp.

lets face it lag comp, lag was no were near as bad untill lag ops came up with there idea of host punnishment.

i have said it before and i will say it again. untill they either fix the host bullshit or give me a choice of being host or not , i will leave as soon as i can see i am host.

lets face it they have had a good few years now to get it right and if its still not right by the time the new one comes out, i think its time to scrap it .

and please pretty please dont let it take a full clip a sledge hammer and then a pick axe to get a kill in black ops´2 . i cant believe how many bullets it takes to get a kill in lag ops.

although running around with a pick axe would be fun

lag, lag comp , hit detection.

if they are anything like the last one i will sell it in the first week.

sound was terrible in lag ops. it sounded like you was tap dancing then nothing then tap dancing again.

kill streaks were crap in lag ops. very boring.

i am amazed how bad these people are at the connection issues. all games have lag but in the last 2 cod it is just nasty.

on the good side the maps are way better than,,,, mw3. mw3 has some of the worst maps i have ever seen in any game.

and please give people a choice of wanting to be considered for host. so people can choose not to be considered.

if they cant do there job properly then give us the option of not being host.

the only thing to do is when the screen is loading when the map comes up, and the bar in white moves across your screen. if it says awaitting challenge quit, it means your host if it says awaitting connection you are not host.

but they will take that out for lag ops 2 i am sure. they will want to prevent you knowing if you are host.

and the times it starts without showing you if your host which it is doing more frequently now then dash board if it makes you host, you know when you are. the magic bullets, the invisible man shooting you. and i am sure there are some who throttle there internet but i do not believe that most of the problems come from that. many people have been suffering this since lag ops. i know i have.

if they have said that then i think it is just an easy way out.. ooooh its not our fault its everyone who throttle there internet who is the problem.

what ever they did to make the commie connection in lag ops and this has really messed it up for some people.

i love using it, nothing better than getting the qs and campers with them. i love seatown with them and c4. i never used and rpg untill mw3 god i missed out on a lot of fun.

the simple solution is for iw to fix there game, most people i think play for fun and dont care about stats. or i hope that is how it is.

i did not like dashboarders in the cod games but i have started to dashboared my self.

being host for me is a joke. now me and some friends as soon as one of us can see we are host we just run about letting the other team kill us, waiting for some one to get the big kill streaks and then the host dashboards.

why should we not have fun as well. we cant play the game normally when we are host so we have made our own game up.

and we will keep doing it untill they get off there lazy dozy behinds and do something about the host getting shafted. and for those who dont suffer from this good for you wish i coúld say the same. and for the person saying throttle your internet back, why should i have to keep messing about with my internet just for this game i dont suffer problems with mw2, or cod4 on the pc. keep dashboarding thats what i say, why should we be cannon foder, we are entitled to have some fun as well. we cant get an even game not even close to it, so we might as well take the piss, i have gone from zero to 8 % people complain since i started to dashboard. all we want is an even game i dont care about stats all i care about is i dont feel like i am being cheated on by the game.

i hope they do wow was great for the coop i hate single player games. i never bother they bore me to death.

i tried lag ops but i think i stopped after about an hour.

i am a coop and multiplayer fan.but for some reason zombies bore the **** out of me. so i really hope coop campaign is in it. one if the greatest times i have had on xbox is doing wow and gears of war coop campaign .

i am sure there are some who have not done there best to check on there end, but i am sure there are many more that have. i have fibre, it runs fine with all games except lag ops and this. being host in either game should be a crime. i am easy meat for the enemy.

i think and i maybe wrong but when it came out it was region locked, or it was for people over here, i think they knew there was a problem with the connections. it made no sence to limit who you could play with when it was never forced on us before.

just checked my speed and ping while writting this. 34/64 and ping to france which is about 2000 km from here grade A 39 ms ping no packet loss and 1ms jitter.

now i only pay for 30/30 upload but for some reason i always get in the 60s for upload. not sure why but i am not going to complain over it lol

so if i dont suffer bad lag in any other game except lag ops and mw3 then it has to be the games.

but i do have to say lag ops plays fine when i am not host. but mw3 is just a joke when it comes to lag for me host is a death sentence and not host in the same game i can start great and then hit a brick wall. it is almost impossible to get a kill.for me the game is broken for me and has been since day 1.

do i hate the game no, i think they had some great ideas but they forgot the most important thing, which for me is multiplayer running smooth with as few as possible lag moments. i dont have the answer on how to fix it but i keep coming back in the hope it is fixed. and for the people coming back who have the same laggy games as me,

its because we love the cod series. and lets face it there is not much else out there in the fps type. bf3 yes good game hardly any lag but the gun sway is terrible and to be honest i cant think of any other game. although i am going to give farcry 3 a go.

dont know what game you played, mw2 had way less lag than this lag fest.

and for me there are way more campers in this than mw2 for the simple reason you could noob them out the room. the rest i agree with. the lag in this game is a joke. i can only guess who ever came up with the idea of punnishing the host has been round up and had his testis pulled over his head to smoother the get lol and if not they should be.

i have made a game of it, so i dont get as frustrated now.

as soon as i can see i am host i will keep going to the same spot and getting killed then when he gets his big kill streak i dashboard. i love some of the messages i get. i always send back. go and buy some internet you cheap ****. and i will keep dashboarding untill i stop getting cheated on.

because that is what it is, its iw version of a lag switch, lag me to benefit others. i will never understand why we are not given the option to opt out of being host.. because there are many who host who dont suffer the problem.

i have 30/30 a good clean line with low ping in the eu. but i feel like i am on a modem.

if they cant get there act together and fix what is for me the biggest problem in cod, rip it all up and start again. because each year it gets worse. or the last two have been really bad for me.

yes it has happend to me a few times, in a full lobby waiting for the game to start, and then all of a sudden you are in a game half over with different players and the game is horrible lol.i just quit now as soon as it happens.

and try to get back in the lobby i was in if it was playing ok.but why it happens i dont know. maybe trying to make the numbers up in another game? or maybe someone votes against you so it puts you in another lobby, i dont know..

of course there will be lag comp, there has to be. but will it be as heavy, i hope not but i would guess it will be. they have to give the kiddies a chance . the adults who play the game and pay for half decent internet are not important its the kiddies with the crappy internet that must be provided for.

they should bring in a cap if you go above it you dont get in the game. then all the ones above the cap can be put in there own crappy game. or show everyones ping, then the ones you can see with bad ping you can vote against. on xbox anyway not sure about the ps3. i use to put lacking skill. but i noticed it would put you with them again but if you put trash talking it wont put you together again.

silly you have to do that but, if its the only way to stop playing against people who are lagging then so be it.

i dont agree, as long as they only get 2 rockets then i dont see a problem. there is a counter to them shoot and move to anothér spot if you´want to camp. most good snipers do that anyway.

its not often i get killed by a noob or rpg now. sometimes using one is the only way to get some campers. me i prefer the stinger. but if someone is camping there arse off c4 and rpg lol. keep them or take away the claymore and personal radar.

or anything else that protects people who want to sit in a room protected from one side and pointing the gun at the other entrance lol.not saying u do that but there is a lot in mw3 who do like to rest there weary bones lol.

what about hit detection, worst in any game. lag comp. 100% joke. the boring kill streaks. fix them 2 plus make the kill streaks fun and i will be happy. i think they are good game makers, they try to fix what is broken mostly. but i am not so sure they will fix the lag comp and hit detection.

i am glad they have moved the game to 2025, but and its a big but for me, ever since lag ops and now mw3 i seem to be a few frames behind in most games.

pulling host for me is a death sentence, i really dont know why it insists on making me host. i can have 2 xboxes plus my wife on the laptop and still it makes me host.

but the resuilt is just the same if its just me or all the house on line. i pull host i cant hit anything. but i can go to mw2 cod4 or bf3 and get no or very little lag. i really hope they fix the lag comp or what ever the problem is. but i dont believe for one second its the matchmaking. as they are saying.

try playing mw2 with 12 of your friends then try the same thing on mw3 with the same people.

we tried it ages ago and no one had probs with lag in mw2 but in mw3 there was 3 out of the 12 who kept complaning about i was round the corner bullshit.

not saying it would be the same for all but it was much better for us as a party of 12 in mw2
