My Opinion on MW3

I'm going to start this discussion off by saying I'm officially done playing MW3 (until the future DLC's have proven me wrong). Hear me out though, I'm highly sure many others will agree with me once I state my reasons.

On January of 2010 I bought my first PS3 and my first game was Black Ops. I played a couple times but didn't really like it (I really sucked). My buddy LiL-SicKNesS17 was helpful enough to show me the true meaning of fun when playing Call Of Duty. Don't get it wrong, we both sucked at the time but it was just so fun to play with your friends in Black Ops. Throughout time my skills progressed and I've actually become really good. I've had so much fun w/Black Ops, I didn't really care about any nerfs or buffs to guns because to me the game was already too good for one or two guns to make the game look bad. And then I hear about MW3 and so I pre-ordered it. I actually went to mid-night release, got home, popped in the disc and played all night. The game was really fun and to me I personally loved the multiplayer and the new pointstreaks system, I thought it was brilliant. As time went by I started noticing alot of problems in the game such as a drop in frame rate (A HUGE PROBLEM ON PS3), lag, Over Powered Weapons, Over Powered Killstreaks, and most importanty, the sound bugs. This made me really think to myself why I was putting so much time into the game and why I was so patient with the updates.

In Black Ops I rarely raged whenever I played by myself or with a friend or in a full party. In MW3 I was noticing that I was raging alot even when playing with friends or a full party. I've noticed that I have never raged in a Call Of Duty game as much as I did in MW3. I've played all the COD games starting from COD4. I actually had all of the CODs at one point to compare and contrast. COD4 is overall the best COD game there is on my opinion, Black Ops 2nd, WaW 3rd, and MW2 last. After I got MW3 I went straight to campaign and I'll be honest, the story was so dramatic and cinematic. It was almost like a movie. I LOVED MW3 campaign and it is my top choice for campaign out of the whole series.

But as I was saying, MW3 is just so different compared to the others in the series. I don't get why people say that it's MW2.5 or MoneyWasted3rdTime, the game is good. But the game just doesn't meet up to my standards; obviously every game has it's own flaws. Something I've found really unfair in MW3 is how the xbox360 players already have what? 4 Maps from the DLC Season already and us PS3 players just got ours today. But wait, the DLC's is only for elite members today for the PS3, that is unfair. We all have to wait a month after so why make it a different date between the elite members and the non-elite members. And the bad part, all we get as of right now is the first two maps that were released (Liberation and Piazza). I find this really unfair but I can be patient for other DLC's. Why am I patient you may ask? Because for Black Ops I made a really bad mistake. I wasn't patient and everytime the DLC's were released (F.E.A.R), I would buy them the day after. I've wasted so much money on the maps, I was so dissapointed in myself for doing such a dumb thing. The maps were not good on my opinion.

Overall, MW3 is an alright game and I give it a 7/10. It has its flaws as every other game has but as I said before, this game just doesn't meet up to my standards. The graphics are good, multi-player is decent, and the campaign is amazing. Maps are too small and too plain (Gray), and too many things in this game is repetetive with other COD games in the series (Many can relate to this). PS3 players are being treated unfair and beginners are having a big advantage on us veterans. And not to be cocky but I'm sure I am a veteran. Though I choose not to prestige more than one time, I do good and I am a team player. I put the team on my back and always try to lead us to victory. A win is a win but the game's meant to be fun.

Thanks guys and gals for taking time to read this. If interested on some youtube videos, my channel is FrumDat98118. My PSN is PandaEatnRice. And again, thank you.

Weapon DLC's

I think IW would make a big impact in the COD community if they decide to put in weapons for DLC's for Modern Warfare 3. I'm not saying they won't in the near future because I don't know if there will be any weapon DLC's in mw3. But I'm just saying.

It'd be nice if they brought back the ak-74u, which was in singleplayer, the M9, the M1911 from cod4 and mw2 (museum level in singleplayer), the AUG and/or the Famas (if so, fully automatic as in B.O), and bring in new weapons such as the Saiga 12 shotgun and the GOL Sniper Magnum, and also bring back the legendary RPD and the hated M93R. As these are all weapons in different weapon categories -- Assault rifles, SMG's, Shotguns, LMG's, Snipers, Machine Pistols --

I think these are good ideas for weapon DLC's if IW was indeed thinking about bringing weapons into the DLC categorie. Don't you agree with me? Maybe the weapons can function the same way for the weapons that were available with the "Back to Karkand" DLC for BF3, which included weapons from BF2.

Sniping Lobbies

As future DLC map packs are released, I think IW should work on releasing a game mode where theres only Sniping, otherwise known as sniping lobbies. It'd be nice to have them because I myself encounter many problems while playing online where I'm trying to get killfeeds with my sniper and then that one particular person comes by and kills you with a grenade launcher or with a rocket launcher from far away. I know this can be easily avoided most of the time as you can see many of these youtubers posting their videos but if you're a hardcore sniper like me you would understand that feeling, that irratating feeling when you've got a killfeed going and then a guy with a P90 or an XM-25 comes by and just sprays all over. It makes you rage so much.

I was a hardcore quickscoper in Black Ops. People said it was impossible but it was actually pretty easy, you just had to manage your time and know when to shoot once the reticle from the scope appears. Proof, I have over 7000 Kills with my L96A1, and also I sacrafised my K/D ratio in MW3 the first week so I can get my MSR to level 31, which went successful. I think I was only one of few in the first week of MW3's release to have a golden sniper.

I'm just saying, these would be nice weapons to bring back as DLC's in mw3 in the near future or in future COD games. Maybe the DLC's can be downloaded the same way the weapons were downloaded in the "Back to Karkand" DLC for BF3.
